This is a gift and a curse. On one hand it's admirable that you're being straight and making your intentions clear with no game playing whatsoever but being upfront can mean you lose some of the vital tension that sparks romance.

All the mystery, intrigue and push/pull dynamic in place when your courting a potential partner is lost as soon as you move on him all business like, to the point.

Maybe you should pull back and wait to see if there's interest on his part before letting your feelings known so soon.

Otherwise he might think "oh, she's on it" but he hasn't developed feelings for you yet and puts you on the back burner until he waits for his other options to play out or try to play you like a booty call since you clearly like him more than he likes you.

And I believe it ties in with Slicks answer here as well as men do like to be the hunters, especially the "high quality" ones that don't have a problem finding a gorgeous gal. They are looking for the "one" that knocks their socks off!


Also, I might add. Some of those guys on the dating sites may only be decoys in order to get more lady sign ups. My daughter works for a love/dating site and they have more men than woman so they create *woman of interest* to satisfy the men and to get them paying more. I imagine this would work both ways, good looking guys on the site will have more woman signing up and then more men will sign up! Do these men look to good to be true??

Does anyone experience these? I'm a wine drinker and have had blackouts when drinking more than a bottle of wine, generally 1 and a half. Even if I have eaten well during the night. Mostly as soon as I hit the cold air after being inside causes it, like this weekend my partner and I rented an apartment in the city so we could go out have a nice meal and drink and dance without having to worry about driving home. We grabbed a taxi back to the apartment 3 mins drive away and after we got out of the cab I don't remember anything else. Now I know from hearing from others when I've experienced this that I walk and talk and interact as per normal but I have actually blacked out or at least my memory has blacked out!

There's always tail tail signs...sometimes really funny, like my bf (he also blacked out this weekend) woke and jumped in the shower only to realise he had somehow scrapped both his elbows and neither of us can figure out how or where it happened! I laugh and say, I'm suppose to be the one with the carpet burns!!

Curious to know of anyone else that has had these.
