I've come to realize I get bored unless I am interacting with other alpha types. Sag Sun/Aries Moon.... Typically what happens is I overly dominate, and end up being the pack leader. That doesn't normally work in romantic relationships though I've come to realize (most recently with an Aqua Sun/Aries Moon).... We were sitting discussing a trip to Mardi Gras this year and my good friend of a decade who is older a Cancer Sun/Gemini Moon was shutting down quite a bit of what the Aqua was saying and the aqua got quiet until we got outside and just went off about her. How she's selfish, doesn't listen, know it all etc etc... I laughed and was like what just like you? She started seething but I was trying to tell her You have to learn and adapt to deal with alphas or you will get marginalized.

Other than compromising in your romantic relationships (taking turns making decisions, etc) . Do you see alpha-alpha relationships as the most compatible for long term success? how do you deal with friends like this?

4 Scorp (including ascent) and 4 sag .... I attract a ton of people... and the ones I don't attract hate me from a distance. Women wise, Its all over the board. you would think I don't have a type because all my friends are different.

No... I am more so emotionally unavailable to protect myself as I get pretty deep... I'm actually pretty emotionally connected to her. Always have been. I think my Aries moon makes me seem a little more detached than normal. I've always said "ok" to relationships...I've never been the one to initiate them. She was so all over the place sometimes. It wasn't until she was yelling at me for not wanting one recently that I realized she actually wanted one. Then I was like WTF why didn't you just say it. She would always throw what if scenarios out then recant or say never mind.

You can’t get her to do anything she doesn’t want to do. Thing is I’m sure you like her empathetic nature towards you. This is who she is. We learn eventually when we don’t like how we are being treated. One must decide they’ve had enough and get stronger. Then, they won’t fall for it so much.

You need to let her learn. Your problem is you want things how you want them, and you want to make her fall in line. It’s not how it works. I learned this lesson the hard way seriously. Sometimes people never learn… and sometimes they do. You just can’t make her.

Pfft I can't think of a time she's empathetic towards me... if anything she holds me to a pretty high damn standard. she's way nicer to friends/people she doesn't know. we actually give each other a lot of shit. I actually like it that way, she holds me accountable.... now I'm just confused because her venus is like completely opposite her moon and sun sign.... so I guess I need to be nicer in how I say things.... or less blunt. Me being a sag sun/aries moon and her being an aqua sun/aries moon I though we were a lot the same... but I never looked at that pisces venus until now (i'm a scorp venus so we are compatible).... and my scorp rising/her virgo rising also are a match....

I am pretty grounded when it comes to bs....and it seems like she's not seeing it I'm trying to figure a way to discuss it that would be receptive.

The empathic and sympathetic nature she has is literally being abused not only by her sister, and her mother but by this libra.... Once she got with this guy you started to come around again, and show interest. Things she felt were lacking in the past, suddenly you are there attentive and caring and giving her all the things she wanted from you when she was exclusively yours. So I don't she will be letting him go anytime soon. He is the catalyst to her getting what she wants outta you.

And I'm sure it sweetens the pot a bit for her to know that you know she also has options. Your not the only one with a weekly rotation. She wants to make sure you know that he's on the bench hand in the air, put me in coach!

I wouldn't say she is the victim here being manipulated by him.

That's not really fair because as soon as I KNEW what she wanted I switched it on. She caught a whiff of a Capricorn I chatted with and ghosted a few years back, honest to god don't know why she texted me out the blue, when she had my phone texting my mom and playing music in the car, nothing serious went out once she seemed a little too into herself. Aqua was LIVID, asking who she was, what she looked like blah blah... and I was thinking to myself. you had a WHOLE relationship going like a month and a half ago... she and I have since been quasi finding our way back.... she asked if I slept with her... the honest to god answer was no, but never seen her jealous in that way before. she later asked me if I regretted making the decision to get back together.

The Aqua actually always took care of me... she just had a girl friend and would disappear for a day or two at a time... so I would play on those days (she told me never let her find out, and not in our place).... so I wasn't ever breaking any boundaries... but I think she wants to get married and have a family so I've actually behaved the last month... pretty easily as I thought we were charting the committed realm... but her allowing this libra to be around is making me hit my brakes until she is 100% back. so its a double-edge sword.

He's still living in her house?

no. she finally ditched him it took a few weeks but all his stuff is out and key is back with her for the last few weeks. He stalked her and I when we went out with friends Thursday and she finally had enough and friday and told him she was going back to me(originally she told him she needed space and wanted to be single) and things went left.... saturday he kept blowing up her phone and she kept talking to him while we and a few friends were at an amusement park... he (pisces moon/libra sun)... keeps saying he's tired of his life, and hasn't eaten since she told him Friday. he asked if he could come by and see her yesterday to talk and if they could do homework together, why she said yes I don't know.... he then proceeds to come over and get drunk and stay over... and then called out of work today.... I told her he's not her problem. and it wasn't a good idea that she even invited him around. He's hurt because they've known each other so long and blah blah... She is doing this she feels guilty song and dance.

I read up on Pisces venus and I was like.... THIS... because the Aqua sun/Aries moon is making no sense. tolerance for this is zilch
