I ask as I've noticed recently a few friends and aquaintances that have met someone that night and slept together, no judgement intended but just find it curious. Mostly I haven't seen a solid union from it...except one gf who has met someone younger and he seems totally besotted with her and visa versa...fingers crossed! Another friend has had a dry spell, over a year and is really wanting to get laid but in saying that she also wants someone permanent.



This is the original post and it was about girls sleeping with someone they have just met, not dated, hoping for a more lasting relationship.

Alot of my friends are single and they are all beautiful to me, but it's sad because I know when they meet someone, what they are really looking for because of the timeless discusions we have had. During those discusions is when I offer my opinion or tell my stories of discovery...but when it comes down to it people are free to make their own choices in life and they will do just that without justification to anyone.

Personally I agree with you three and that's my choice and because of past experiences.

Some of my girls are just looking for love but will go with sex in order to maybe hook someone and it's sad to sit and watch knowing what I know but of course there isn't anything I can do, they are adults. If this is the one ET go for it, dont hold back and hesitate making all the excuses why you shouldn't and then regret it. Take it slow, she's young and a virgin but let her know you are interested in pursuing something real and you are prepared to wait (I'm hoping you are). Most importantly "Dont play games," go back to old skool and ask her out on a date!

That's a tough question, and probably something people struggle with often ..... if the secret is a nasty one, then to tell it could mean the end of the relationship if the person isn't accepting. The other side is .. if they aren't accepting, then it was never meant to be in the first place.

I agree with you here P, I would want to know everything upfront so i can make an informed decision. I understand the other side of your argument but isnt that realising that maybe this could effect whether the relationship continues or not so rather it's an excuse not to come clean.


Bella, I myself lived with my exs secret and mistakenly found out some 12 years later...I couldn't forgive and eventually it added to me leaving. But it was a secret that directly effected me.
