Very true Dy but that's only when you have that opinion of yourself...that you need a quick fix or you need to give it up so as not to remain on the shelf!! Patience is a virtue and all good things come to those who wait! These sayings have alot of depth...unlike alot of people!
Rheea, you've laid it on the line and if he cant step up to the mark, how can you go on being friends or why would you want to???
Because he is a good person!?!???
Seriously, if you wanted a relationship with this person and he isn't ready or willing why stick around to watch him fuck others when he pleases or get more attached and risk getting more involved and hurt...he's not going to change until he's ready and has met the person that is right for him.
Very encouraging for when I meet up with my Leo friend in Nov I've never felt completely satisfied in love but I've never been with a Leo before and just through contact again after 14 years I already feel we are quite compatible!
Yes unfortunetly Librans thrive off flirting. Only today I was openly flirting with 2 guys both are attached and I know there is nothing more in it than flirting. I walked away feeling great, they were smiling and it lifted their day as well...nothing else will go on but I'm sure if their partners had witnessed it they wouldn't be happy at all!!! So what can be done??? He needs to learn to simply not openly flirt in front of you...and that will be a hard thing to do if you are around or you will need to learn that it's not going anywhere it's part of his make up and you will need to trust him!
I was married for 20 years, flirted throughout and I am aware now that my husband didnt like it (came to light during the breakup) BUT I never cheated, I simply liked the attention.
LK & NJ...What happened in the beginning is now irrelavant, the fact is they are in a commited relationship together and she is just asking for advice in the new situation that has arisen. Which is how to deal with a partnership when the honeymoon period starts to wear off. For some of us that can be months or years!
Do you think he is being disloyal? I didnt get that, all I got was he wanted a little bit of space to re-establish friends. Sometimes it is hard to let go and fully trust that that is all our partners want and we go into overdrive thinking he's looking elsewhere beacuse I'm not doing something...Dont fall into that trap if there isnt any evidence. Have your talk but I can guess that he closes up when it comes to the heart because he doesn't want to hurt your feelings in anyway and is trying to guess what you want him to say. Will continue as I have a visitor... sorry
You need to get on with your own life and forget about this dude! You obviously aren't over him yet and are playing jealousy games which arent going to work for keeps. Maybe if you want to be screwed again...thats about all you will get...BUT then how will you feel afterwards??? Take it from me as a Libra when it's over it's truely OVER!!!
Move on hun, stay away from him and ALL OF HIS FRIENDS. Let sleeping dogs lie and something better will be around the corner!
Hey SD, from my experience and that would be with any sign, most couples get so wrapped up in each other in the beginning of their relationships that they drop their mates...later on when things are chilling out a little they start to miss their independence and their own personal space. This is not a bad thing & there should be enough trust within your relationship to let go a little.
I see that he maybe wants to bring some friends back into his life but to try and explain that to a partner is always difficult, I hear you saying...you are trying to entertain him or fill that void BUT you can't. This to me is the point where you both need to branch out a little and re-establish your own independence and lives while remaining in your happy life together with the kids. Do you think this is possible?
Yep she should have waited but she didnt so you need to get on with your own life...she's is not worth your time quite simple really! Move on and take it as a lesson in life...Her lose!
I'm pigging out on sweets which I never really do and picking after having dinner too!! Should I put it down to winter eating? What's the best type of food to fill you up and cause the least damage?
Yeah Chatz, this is great advice! Why dont you post it on relationships for all to see. It really needs to have it's own thread as so many here are in this type of relationship!
I'm in the middle of one...onbeknowins to me til last weekend.
I've advertised on a free advert site for someone to rent a room in my house and I've had a few people reply. Anyhow one person from South Africa has applied as she is coming to Australia for 5 months and apparently her company is paying all her expenses. So I've told her the going rent per month and she's agreed saying they will send a cheque through the post for the monthly amount and to tell her more about our country.
In the meantime I've mentioned to my friends of my new potential house guest. They have told me it's a scam and that a friend of there's had the same thing happen and then was contacted by the scammer to say that the company has stuffed up and sent too much. Enough to include her airfares plus spending and if she could deposit it in the bank and send back the difference minus the monthly rent. To which she did as the bank had no problem with these travellers cheques. Later on however the bank comes back and you are liable because the cheques are fraudulent!!
So I'm waiting and this morning I get an email onlong those very same lines!!!!! But luckily I've been informed...Not sure whether I would've gone along with it all had I not been...
So I will visit the cop shop and let them know what is happening and find out what can be done. I've played along with her little game and am waiting for the cheque to arrive...
Be warned!!! Has anyone else come across scams like these or friends that have???
I've seen the usual, someone has died and they think you might be related as you have the same last name blah blah or you have won money send a cheque here to blah blah...
What sort of advice do you give out though??? Is it false hope cos that's what people want to hear when they are down and out and that would make it perfectly clear as to why they WOULDN'T be visiting a SCORP cos the scorp would sting them with the truth!!!

No I dont think it's only younger folk Da bull. Heard lots of people talk about it young and old. In fact I would think the older you are the more likely you've done soething before and then perhaps it's just a memory lapse! Ha
