Some people are of the notion that "Once a cheater always a cheater"

If this be his case and also as a scorp this could be your undoing! I always enquire about past relationships and quite honestly if someone has cheated on a previous partner I definetly take a couple of steps back and review the situation...and I'm a LIbrian.

i just wish that society was a little less scathing about older women - like it's some kind of disease or something to be feared or just to randomly insult someone.

I feel that this is all about stars and magazines etc. (and I dont read them unless I'm in a waiting room) i personally dont take any notice or see young people scathing older women and with 3 teenager daughters I certainly see a fair few young people. In fact I've never had anything but compliments from them.

I think people percieve what they want to or what is conscious in their minds. For instance when I'm looking at buying a new car the model I've decided upon all of a sudden I see them everywhere because I'm alert listening and looking for them or when in I was selling Real Estate everywhere I went(grocery stores, playgrounds, schools) I picked up on people talking about selling their homes or listing etc etc. I would hear something and then tune in because it was on my mind.

And GB as long as you are a good person and can laugh a little, especially at yourself as your friend PP would say lol it really doesn't matter what age you are. From what I've read through here from you, I like you

Looking 19 @ 24 is easy,(life's just begun) wait another 20 years (generally the hardest 20 years of life) and then still look and FEEL 10 years younger!

When I was younger I lacked confidence and experience...now in the middle of my life, I have all the confidence in the world... WHY?

Because through my experiences in life I've learnt I really dont give too much of a damn what people think of me, all that matters is that I think enough of me and my actions. With this is a beautiful person both inside and outside and I don't feel the need to compete with a beautiful younger model who hasn't yet grown with experience!

@GB, yeah she is a great looking 40 year old and we get better and better...hope you can keep yourself in great form when you are as old as we are!

I also dont think you look anything alike and I think the comment was directed at Mooneyes not looking 25 in her pic. He purely commented that she should put up one of the others in her profile. She took offence to his judgement. Then the thread turned to an insult of the fact that English wasn't her 1st language....sooooo what, some people think they are better because they speak better English. She's a HOT chick and her native tongue would make her more appealing me thinks!

Hate to state the obvious BUT there are alot of UGLY people in this thread...

You may be his "exception" and you are curious too. Worth a shot in my book. You never know until you try and stop trying to read everything into it because when you do that you have all this defensiveness about you. Just relax make the date and play it one day at a time.

Dont be too hung up on past relationships either because this person has nothing to do with what went wrong there.

Oh I know, I feel great about 2009. But you put in all the effort and then you get what you want and then you stop and think about how different your life is going to be...I know for the better but stil scary and exciting!!!

Well it works both ways, I've experienced problems with guys not wanting to as much or frequently or they aren't fulfilling my needs. At the end of the day it comes down to compatibility in the bedroom as well as outside and if it's not working there then you have to live with it...or NOT...your choice.

Only one way to find out though because if you ask the question you're not really going to get the true answermost of the time!

Yep I dont sleep around alot but have slept with someone recently because it had been 10 months and I didnt want to pass up on the opportunity just incase it was going to be another 10 months or longer. Obviously there was some attraction there but not many guys turn my head or even have me thinking along those lines. In fact I'd say 1/1000 or even more!

I guess you do get kinda addicted to some of the posts here like Denny but now he's dropped everyone because I dont think he likes alot of the feedback and doesn't want everyone to know what's really happening now. But I find living in Aussie I only get to chat to people like you who are that addicted you are up in the middle of the night when I'm playing around dinner time.

Also now my daughter comes home from school and can't get me off the computer so she can chat to her friends because I want to know what's happening here!!!Hehe

Apart from the sleep factor...you could be doing worse!! Sometimes I'm having a glass of vino and that can set me off with some of my comments! I'm sure Tiki must be drinking with some of the staight out no SHIT answers she throws at people! haha

My first real job in 20 odd years! Well the first on my own credentials.

I worked with my husband as his PA for 7 years and haven't been in any solid employment for the last 4-5 years. Pulled my finger out over Xmas and decided to re-enter the workforce as I felt I lost myself in the marriage/family.
Anyway I just landed a role as a Property Manager!!!! I'm absolutely estatic and now a little scared...I'm going back out into the BIG wide world all alone...

Started off here when i wanted some feed back on my own problems and then help with geting through and over someone as they occupy your every thought.


looking for entertainments

then I found that alot of the threads and people replying could be quite entertaining! Also it beats passing the time looking at the big box in the corner or a dating site when you are just looking to converse with other mature and sometimes immature people!

The last time I did that it was only 3 months and lasted nearly 20 years!!! Hahaha maybe I should consider only a month next time round!

Seriously, though if I'm not ready for the relationship to head towards the bedroom and relent under the pressure, which has happened. It doesn't really last very long. So if I know I want this person around for a while, I'll develop the relationship for several months before going there. Alot of men have only one thing on their mind and when they get that there is no need to do the extra mileage in establishing a connection and they then start looking around for someone else that takes their fancy.

If I considered him a "keeper" then i would take my time and make him wait, make him want me as much, if not more than I want him.

However, if I didnt see anything further than that I'd probably give in to my urges immediately!

I chat with someone here from time to time, not romantically because we are the complete opposites and dont share the same values at all but we get along on a different level. It's a nice friendship and because we are on totally different time zones we tend to be on around the same times. And he's a shitstirrer and I so get that!! Hahaha
