For a little fun. Observations about friends and family during the inevitable holiday festivities.
Aries boy: never stops moving. Talks loudly. Hates to lose. Pitches fits of laughter. Well dressed. Cute as hell. Everyone loves the little bugger. It's hard not to.
Scorpio woman 1: soft spoken. Few words. Uses eye contact a lot. Can't tell if she really likes her gifts. Her words say yessiree. Her face says nada.
Libra woman: lots of sexy posing, charming giggles, talking about boyfriends-- she's got two going: one on the way out, the other on the way in. Bats her eyelashes a lot.
Aqua woman: very strange thought patterns to describe her word on the guessing game. Talks with her hands. Gets pissed during heated debate-- but only because she doesn't think people understand her. We all beer stand her but she doesn't think so. Lol
Virgo man: spends what seemed like several minutes getting thoughts together without saying a thing before stating his spiel during word game. Won't eat certain foods because they contain hydrogenated fat/oils/whatever. We all know about his latest trip to doctors.
Scorpio woman 2: rolls eyes a lot. Keeps changing word she doesn't like until she finds one she can define quickly. Doesn't a rats arse if anyone else doesn't like this. Laughs out loud. A lot.
Pisces man: very soft spoken. Seems to gently help everyone with their word. Says zip, zilch, nada about anything significant going on in his life. Smiles a lot. Didn't realize he was in the room for ten minutes.
Saggitarius woman: always smiling a sweet smile. Her eyes sparkle. Has slight control issues with what games to play and how. Brings up a philosophical game. Her mother just died and her dad is on his death bed. When asked how she's doing, she smiles and says, I'm okay. I believe her.
Scorpio man: always with the sarcastic, hilarious comments on the absurdity of the subject. Other than that, pretty quiet. Always at the side of his SO.
That's all I got. Have at it.

I have Venus in Gemini but I don't have these issues personally. I'm pretty black and white and I can't play games to save my life! I do understand the need for things to build up organically rather than jumping into "I'm committed for life territory".
But I agree, you should be honest about what you want and who you are. There are definitely other people out that will agree/find your style comfortable but it's not okay to lead people on or play with them. So find people who can handle your need for openness.

The holidays, what a better time then to take a second to ask your self this question. Some food for thought:
- 870+ million people that suffer from malnourishment (starvation)
- it would cost roughly 0.7% of each countries budget to END world hunger
- that is approximately 25 billion a year, chump change in perspective to roughly 1 trillion spent by the US alone in military related activities.
"To end extreme poverty worldwide in 20 years, Sachs calculated that the total cost per year would be about $ 175 billion. This represents less than one percent of the combined income of the richest countries in the world.
In fact, this cost is 0.7% of the total income of the 30 countries who comprised the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2005 when Sachs wrote The End of Poverty. For his calculations, he used the 2002 values for their collective wealth. This is relevant because while there have been some rough economic times since 2002, OECD total income is still somewhat higher now than it was then.
ODA as percentage of gross national income (Wikimedia Commons)
This level of aid has in fact already been promised by the developed nations through the Monterrey Consensus. This consensus guarantees 0.7% of gross national product (GNP) as official development assistance (ODA)1.
However, fiscal commitments have lagged far behind the agreement. For example, the US only gives 0.18% of GNP as ODA, a much lower value that the Scandinavian countries.
In order for poverty to be ended in the next few decades, the US needs to ramp up to about $ 75 billion per year in ODA. This would be their contribution if they deliver 0.7% as promised.
The US could end poverty
The United States is spectacularly wealthy. With a GNP in 2009 of about $ 14 trillion, the US is a huge chunk of the total GNP of the OECD, which is about $ 40 trillion2. The sheer size of the US economy means that even though they only give 0.18% of their GNP as ODA, they still give the most total money of any nation on the planet.
US Military spending
ODA by country
The military budget in the USA is about $ 680 billion per year3. A large amount of other funding is directly connected to military spending in the states, bringing the total closer to $ 1 trillion per year4.Even if we assume the lesser of these numbers, annual defense spending in the US is abou

So my Venus is in Gemini and I've come to realize that I'm such a mindf*ck and play games, like not necessarily intentionally, sometimes I don't even catch it happening until the ball is already rolling. I don't like that there's only FWB and GF...what about that grey area in the middle that society has yet to give a relationship term to? But then, if society ever termed that area too and gave it rules and parameters, I would probably insist on stepping over to a new grey area! lol What the heck?! I can genuinely care about someone but I don't translate it to love or a sudden urge to fast forward to a legit relationship. Yet despite that, I could also still get jealous too though! Aaargh!! I'm a walking contradiction and confusing as hell. I confuse guys all the time, but most of the times, I am quite confused too when it comes to my dating life!!
Is this a Gemini thing? How do I deal with this?
My Moon in Virgo is desperately trying to make sense of this grr!

Suppose you are in a serious relationship with someone, you 2 have been together as a couple for 4-5 years. You 2 even live together in a little apartment, basically you love her, she loves you. Well obviously, s3x comes up but your partner wants to keep her virginity till marriage, its not that shes strictly religious but its her wish to give it to the one who she will spend her entire life with.....and after hearing that from her. What would your thoughts be?
Cant believe im asking this.....but i REALLY wanna know how taureans (you all are s3xual ppli dont mean it in a bad way but your sign is the second most "s3xual" after scorpio with a good drive) think of someone like that.
Someone who wants to stay pure for *the one*? Because i'm like that, i want to save it for *the one* and im constantly attracted to bulls.

ladies, what about you establish your own ass, this is the 21st century
Oh yeah???? Uh huh, ok....
To add another dynamic to this conversation, I am successful. I'm financially independent and have what some would consider a prestigious career.
I travel through the U.S.and Canada and speak at conventions, go on-site to oil and gas refineries and deal with complex products that require specialized education and knowledge. To make matters worse, right now I'm at the top of my game.... and I'm in a man's world and there are absolutely no other women who do what I do. Did I mention, I'm only 30?
When a dude is chatting me up or I'm on a date and inevitably the "So, what do you do?" comes up.... I swear to fucking God I want to say I'm a waitress or a fight attendant.
Even if I'm humble when I'm telling them, even if I play it off like no big deal most men go limp faster than a dude after a whiskey binge.
And this is all types... a successful well educated man? He sees it as competition. A guy with a less noteworthy job? He's so fucking intimidated he starts stammering and I can see the thought in his head.... "get the check, leave now."
It's. Fucking. Bullshit.click to expand
