Actually you aren't reading this thoroughly at all...his mother isn't dead, she's sick but not terminal. He just feels he is needed there.

I also feel there is no real communication here for a couple that are suppose to be planning their lives together!

Sounds like you two have still haven't got the communication lines open anymore than before!

How often have you been in contact since October? If you were thinking of moving in together when you got back then sounds like you are in a full on relationship and it maybe that your downfall here is that you are not discussing this with her. I understand that you need to be there for your mother and you feel you are needed there but you booked for 4 months and then you cancelled out on going back and have told her you don't know when you are returning. Was there any discussion here?

For all she knows you are having the time of your life and making excuses. You're definitely not considering her feelings if you haven't taken her thoughts into consideration.

If you want this lady, perhaps you should actually try talking to her and listening

I very rarely get invited to anything that doesn't involve drinking or drinks are on hand unless it is a religious function. It's the way things are these days but then it is up to the individual as to whether they get wasted or are social or don't drink at all.

That;'s what I was needing to know. Over here we use one sim and can travel everywhere with it but we are only one country and as my stays will be only a few days at a time the USB stick might be the better option.

Would have loved to make it to Amsterdam but not happening on this trip because of the time factor, Boom's not a douche but I believe he's happy in love.

I'm travelling around Europe for a month in a few short weeks, can anyone help with advice on what mobile sim card I should purchase for my iPhone 5S while there. I mostly need it for internet connection and will be travelling through London, Paris, Spain, Croatia and Greece. Not sure how your phones or servers work there but something that provides me with at least 2 gb of data over a month??_or if you could explain what your prepaid contracts include.

Omg, I'm a total "fool" when it comes to love. Against all odds I accommodate to try and make it work even if I know deep down it's not for me.

Then one day an epthimy hits me and I will sabotage even without consciously knowing I'm doing it to end it!

I myself 6 months out of a split, walked right into my ex with a new girl. I didn't have those negative thoughts towards her but 2-3 months earlier I might have??_ and 2-3 months earlier you wouldn't have been able to reason with me over it. It's a process and one, each person will come to terms with in their own time. At 3 months it would have been too early for me and I was still wondering what went wrong and why he didn't want us. By 6 months, I had opened my eyes to so much more and the realisation was more excepting of the split.

And then again, some woman may only feel better if they think that he hasn't done as well. To some this would mean a lot and also it may help them to move on themselves. Whatever floats their boat.

I would liken your advice to reading a book on how to successfully raise a child??_.when we know that no book will ever be able to illustrate this perfectly. Maybe its the way you write

I waited for the time and before it came I had several dreams of my ex husband, not disturbing dreams but where I was always looking out for him (weird) anyway the main reason I wanted to try this was to completely free myself of thoughts of my ex of a year ago.

First day, already I could feel negativity draining away. It felt like this was going to be a good thing and today I threw the stone into the river as I walked my dogs. Felt great too. I still dreamed of my ex husband last night, nice calming happy dream, or that is how I felt during it, can't remember the dream itself. Maybe something telling me to look for someone more like him.

Then, I run an errand this morning, something important and as I walk out of the place I walk straight into the ex bf of a year ago!! I have seen him only a few times since the split. Was a shock but as I walk forward, I'm good, no I feel great!! His demeanour hasn't changed, he has a negative ora about him that I knew was there but chose to ignore when we were together.

So thankyou again for sharing this, I may do this again next month just because!

Maybe it is still toxic however at this point she is still hurting and therefore still drunk with the pain.

Getting over someone is not an overnight thing no matter how nasty the split is, it can still take months and years in some cases. Feelings are not just shut off to suit idealisitic thinking.

There are two sides to every coin, open your eyes a little wider because you yourself come off as judgemental!

I think you are blowing this all out of proportion!

Most of the time if the woman feels like that, then chances are she has been hurt and hasn't gotten over the man AND at this point of time (which is most probably too soon for her to have dealt with her feelings)comes as a blow so she will look for anything to help her stay on top. Maybe it might be almost celebrated but we all know in reality it's because it has cut like a knife regardless of what is said to front her pain.

LibraSid.... Yes. I reacted badly. What can I say? I'm trying to make amends which I can't do when I'm being ignored. Weird but I actually have a lot of friends where he lives so in that month I was there about 3 days a week for 3 weeks. And I saw him when I was there. Still. I know I overreacted.

AND if you can't deal with that and be patient then this guy is certainly not the one for you. At this point he has no commitment to you and you feel he does, you've dated a half dozen times but there is no obligation to give you anything in his mind.

Keep pushing and apologising and you will be shut our further...it's the way I would react! You would come off as loopy in my mind!
