It's a way of establishing if there are things in common and yes with some people they also need to know whether you are working or not. So much unemployment out there and so many people that have never held down a job or even have the desire to. This situation I think is your own insecurities that are holding you back, he may have been just throwing it out there like a weather question but you are defensive and feeling threatened and with that you may never get to know.

How do you feel about yourself not yet finding employment? It's hard out there with 300 applicants applying for 1 advertised job! Because this question will come up every time, whether it's on a dating site or in RL situations.

Personally I don't think you can have it all because the grass is always greener and there is always something else to strive for...who is ever content with what they have? Take for example the rich and famous who appear to us, to have it all...are they content with millions of dollars, their houses, their travelling and their model/actor partners?? Periodically, and then it all falls apart, something shows up that looks more appealing, another beauty, drugs, alcohol and they start to self destruct.

Spend a lot of time with a Samoan family here in Australia, awesome bunch of people that are always looking for something to party for, had many a drunken nights and days with these people. I write an email, there's always way more to say that just in a text and I can re-read it and know what I am saying is final. I close all the doors this way and don't expect an email back. I make sure I thank him for the part they had/shared in my life and wish him well and then start the uphill battle of getting myself back on my feet.

Yes it's the mental age we r talking abt.

And yes, if he's physically not fit then there's no point.

So it's mental age and also fitness level to be more accurate.

A man of say in his 30's or 40's if he is physically fit, I'm sure he can handle a girl in her late teens or in their 20's.

But fitness is for all age groups, don't you think so ?

Im talking physically attractive to me, he would have to be and with your theory I very much doubt I would be attracted to this person! The dude would be 80 years old!! Yuk and with that in mind...I can't imagine we'd have a great deal in common. Keep away from all the places you went and places you might bump into him because you aren't ready. Took at least 3 months before I wanted to get out and stop mourning, you need to allow yourself some mourning time but you also will benefit from being active...it might not feel it at first because you will eat drink and sleep with him on your mind...then one day you will start to notice it gets less and less and what a relief!

Everybody has different times where they will feel ready to explore dating again, you'll probably take a while and that's why you can't understand how easy it is for him to...he just needs to be with someone but chances are there will be lots of someones...

One day at a time and with no contact. Start focusing on yourself because I'm sure you've neglected yourself during the relationship. Push yourself back out there on the days you don't feel too low and except every invitation to go out and about. It's way better than staying at home and dwelling, there'll be plenty of days for that. Smile at a stranger and watch their reaction.
