Woman take care of their men all the time, are you thinking he is referring to financially? Because I read it as taking care, loving the way we do. Whether it be cooking or in bed or how we express ourselves! As a man takes care of his woman with love and affection, taking them out etc

I've decided to go back to my original plans that I set 7 years ago when I moved here...have done everything but and now I need to put it into play. My gf has also pointed out that I need to stop being so nice, people do or say things and I let it go so as not to create drama or make excuses for the way they are...From now on, I will speak my mind when these things occur and if that person doesn't like it then they don't need to be around me.

The more I thought about it the more I got annoyed, so I PM'd him this morning and said "care to explain what that was all about the other night?"

Haven't heard anything back and tbh not expecting to but he won't be pulling that shit on me again~!

I don't feel I need to have the talk, I'm a Libra don't like any form of confrontation. I just won't be so quick to answer his texts and PM's from now, he'll figure it out.

@ GLL, in my circle of friends my gf is engaged to an up and coming sports man and we spend a fair bit of time hanging out bbqing, partying and watching this sport. I picked it a few months ago when I was analyzing why he never asked me out but continually kept in contact. He confirmed it in a convo we had saying that he noticed that he doesn't get invites like he use to because his friend had fallen out with his brother (the sportsman)

Thanks HB, I know he isn't the man for me. That was my decision after the first month. I just don't understand where he thinks he is coming from with his actions last night. I mean, I haven't given him any impression whatsoever that I am romantically interested, I reply to his messages but I don't ask him to out anywhere. I have only seen him face to face 3 times in the 5 months but it seems he has built up a relationship in his head that is more than friendship!

In the beginning, there was interest on my part but after all this time, he's now been friend zoned. I've learned a fair bit about the guy and things he does and says annoy me. Taurus guy I met 5 months ago has befriended me. Nothings happened between us and he has never asked me out but sometimes texts or PM's or calls me for various reasons but always talks about himself personally. What he is doing with his life and also asks for financial advice, he's looking at buying an apartment and I have Real Estate knowledge. We have met through a group of mutual friends who I spend a lot of time with but he doesn't get the invites as much. I figured out after about 6-8 weeks into this new friendship that he wasn't interested in me other than he's lonely and wanting to get into my circle of friends more, so I don't ever text or call him but always answer to his.

Anyway, last night NYE he texted me an early Happy New Year before the text lines were jammed up. I was already in the swing of partying and didn't text back, plus I don't send those wishes until after it does become New Year. An hour and a half later and at 11.00pm he texts "Obviously not cool enough for you to text back." I'm like WTF?? Showed my bbf and she couldn't believe it either. I mean the guy hasn't shown any interest in me but rather wants an in to my circle of friends through me...he even confirmed that he wants this in one conversation we were having. I don't see him hardly at all, only talk or message through FB and mobile. Then around 2.00am after my bff puts up on FB where we were drinking he shows up!!! Comes straight up to me, I say Happy New Year and give him a kiss on the cheek. I'm pretty wasted by this time and he says something about not being cool and walks up to the bar. He offers to buy me a drink and I say no but he insists so I have another champagne. We decide to go across the road to the casino with my gf and a guy she has met and while we are walking there he says he needs to go to the toilet and then goes home. I ring him once we are inside and he doesn't answer and I haven't heard from him at all....

What the hell was that all about??

My euro name in my mothers country means " lucky lady"
I've always known I would get what I want, I consider it lucky but more so determined. Things don't fall into my hands and I don't win huge windfalls. I consider it lucky to win anything even a small division payout in lotto. I make my luck with hard work and an optimistic outlook. When things go wrong I don't dwell on the negative for too long and if it's bad, my mind then thinks that I'm lucky considering many others are going through much worst!

He's always had the crush on me since I met him some 10 years ago, even when he was married. I just thought he was the friendly neighbour

I personally think he thinks I can fix his life...but I don't want to fix anyone and as I said, I want the butterflies and the excitement personally, so I'll keep my distance and enjoy his company sparingly.

That's what I'm not sure about, how much he does like me. He's joked about marrying me when we were having a group discussion about my permanent residency status. He puts it all on and cooks when I go over when normally his sister does it all. He makes his son greet me and and talk to me. (kids nose is normally stuck in a computer game of sorts) His comment the other night...Little things I have noticed that is reserved for my attention. But then he has said that he thinks of me as a really good friend, this after we had sex a couple months ago. I'm not sure if you know the history here but he was a brief FWB 3 or 4 years ago and didn't want to be alone. I rejected a relationship and he jumped straight into another. When that broke down, he came looking for me at my mums and has said and reminisced that he should have listened to me when I warned him about what he was getting himself into. Remembers a lot of what we talked about in the couple of times we spent together back then.

This is why I feel, he's looking for guidance in life from a partner...me, and he has stated that is what he needs to keep him on track. Someone sensible to pull him back in line. Dudes money falls through his fingers, he has his own business, his kid is without guidance because a weekend dad always gives too much to make up for the time they are not around. He goes out on the town and doesn't get back until the next morning...like 9-11am and then for the next 2-3 days suffers and always with regret. Sometimes bringing randoms home!

I've crossed the line again and selfishly but I know I'm not in it for a relationship, wasn't back then nor now...he feels like a friend, a fun one to have around that I am comfortable with.

Birthday is January 8th. Don't know any more details than that.

Is it then wrong or cruel of me to keep hanging out with him then? I only hang out in a group situation, normally at his for dinner and drinks and only every 3rd invitation (approx 6 weeks apart)

I really like him and his sister as friends and they are fun to be around. Always lots of laughter and a good night.
