OMG, a big yes at respecting your elders. I'm a huge fan of that one. I still stand up for an old person sit if there are no other sits available. I do not stand up for pregnant women though, not my problem you're pregnant. Some even give you a look that tells you to get up, I don't.

Hm, I don't really get that, because it's not really your problem someone is old or handicapped either, if a woman is heavily pregnant I would definitely give up my seat.

And yeah, my nickname in college was "grandma" because a lot of my old-fashioned mannerisms. I hate to sound dramatic but I find the general lack of respect and consideration out in society today to be very draining.

Yes, I always expect to be seated in the front passenger seat unless there is someone older, in which I will sit in the back. I hate it when I see young children arguing and talking down to their elders, whether it be parents or teachers or anyone that they should show respect to. And most definitely give your seat or open doors for your elders and so much more!!

The Grandmother of all Blonde Jokes:
This blonde decides one day that she is sick and tired of all these
blonde jokes and how all blondes are perceived as stupid. So, she

Still hasn't asked me out and it makes me wonder, is he actually interested and then last night after seeing a blog I put on FB, he PM's to ask is I was ok. I Pm'd my reasoning for it and it was past tense but thanked him for his concern. Then he starts texting me, just about understanding and about his day...so now he's been texting me all day just chatting...a half an hour ago he asked if I went out last night and I said no, all my friends are either working this weekend or have family over...thought he was going to ask me out. But no, not yet...*shakes head*

Guess he hasn't decided if he wants to or not yet...there wouldn't be any other reason would there? I just don't think someone would text for 8 hours and not be thinking or interested in the other person...

Who, When and Why?

Doesn't life resemble a roller coaster? The ups and the downs...through the years and as we get older...it's a different outlook in what I call the 3rd stage of life. I've had my youth, raised a family and now living for me. I wouldn't change a thing and appreciate the lessons even through the pain. Good friends and family and many more rides to come!
