So it should come as no surprise to others when we take a hiatus from time to time. It doesn't mean we do not care. As was mentioned we have so much butter going on in our lives and couple that with dealing with our internal conflicts we impose upon ourselves, one can begin to appreciate that sometimes we just need space to work things out.
Try to be patient with this Scorpio. But please do not try to figure him out completely. He is still trying to figure himself out. Just appreciate him for the amazing person he is and support him in whatever his trials are and you will never go wrong.

DO you think once you've mastered all a human is meant for that it begins the end of the cycle? That it ends the reincarnation once a person reaches total enlightenment?

The Scorpio has to be the breaker upper, though, so if someone leaves them ... they are the opposite of cold.
They will chase indefinitely to get that person back .... to turn around and break up with them.
Yes this is true Scorpio's don't like being dumped or rejected.click to expand

I have only read the OP .....
I have quite a few Scorpio men in my family (father, brother & son), and from where I observe ... it's not really coldness, per se
The Scorpio (male) appears to be so passionate, that it is nearly impossible for them to turn it off. They can turn people off, or situations off .. but, not how they deeply it felt.
So, naturally, when the times come in where you have to break away from someone ... this is going to be with such intensity, that indifference is going to look frozen.

I'm not sure I believe in old soul/new soul. Many 'psychics' I've talked to believe that all souls originated at the same time. That would kind of make sense to me...that we were all born from a huge amount of energy. That when we die, our 'soul' returns to that energy. But, I have no way of knowing. If I took the old/new soul stance, I'm not even sure what I'd be. How do you know? My gut could tell me one thing, but there's literally no way for me to verify. And besides, how many times have I been wrong with things before...and with things that there were more evidence for? I may feel wise, experienced, etc, but I could be a wise, experienced, new soul. The traits I have as a person right now are not passed on. I'm not observant, introspective, etc, because I've lived many or few lives. I'm this way because of my current life experiences. In the end, I have to feel that the old soul new soul thing is just another way for people to feel special, just like the indigo children.
But, as I've said, I have no way of knowing. I can't say your beliefs are wrong.
These are always good topics to get a lot of unique ideas introduced and talked about.

I think websites make it vague on purpose, astrology is sort of a cheat code to life...

LEO: In keeping with their Zodiacal symbol, lions frequently have mane-like hair, framing their keen-eyed, well-shaped faces. They tend toward high color in complexion, sometimes tending to ruddy. These natives will have a regal bearing, erect posture, and graceful movements. Their movements can be slow, but dramatic and extremely "leonine!" Eyes tend to be almond shaped, often a dark shade -- again, not necessarily brown or black, but dark blue, dark green, dark hazel. They may have a tendency toward "bad backs," or pain in the back, neck, and sometimes the shoulder area, although the shoulders themselves tend to be strong and broad.
