Kenyan special forces are positioned nearby to make the arrest. Facial recognition to identify human targets is done at Joint Intelligence Center Pacific at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The mission is supervised in the United Kingdom by a COBRA meeting that includes British Lieutenant General Frank Benson, two full government ministers and a ministerial under-secretary.
Farah discovers that inside the house, the three high-level targets are now arming two suicide bombers (one is American) for what is presumed to be an attack on a civilian target. Powell decides that the imminent bombing changes the mission objective from "capture" to "kill". She informs drone pilot Watts to prepare a precision Hellfire missile attack on the building, and solicits the opinion of her British Army legal counsel. To her frustration, her counsel advises her to seek approval from superiors. Benson asks permission from the COBRA members. Citing conflicting legal and political views and contrasting the tactical value of the assassination with the negative publicity of killing civilians and the status of some of the targets as American or British nationals, they fail to reach a decision and refer the question up to the UK Foreign Secretary, presently on a trade mission to Singapore. He does not offer a definite answer and defers to the US Secretary of State, presently on a cultural exchange in Beijing, who immediately declares the American suicide bomber an enemy of the state. The Foreign Secretary then insists that COBRA take due diligence to minimise collateral damage.
Alia, who lives next door, is now near the target building selling her mother's bread. The senior military personnel argue the risk of letting three high-level terrorist leaders, and two real-time suicide bombers, leave the house. The lawyers and politicians involved in the chain of command argue the personal, political and legal merits of and justification for launching a Hellfire missile attack in a friendly country not at war with the US or UK, with the significant risk of collateral damage. Watts and his enlisted sensor operator, A1C Carrie Gershon, can see the more direct risk of little Alia selling bread outside the targeted building, and they seek to delay firing the missile until she moves.
Farah is directed to try and buy all of Alia's bread so she will leave, but after paying her his cover is blown and he is forced to flee. Alia retrieves the bread he dropped and sits down to sell it a second time.
Seeking authorisation to execute the strike, Powell orders her risk-assessment officer to find parameters that will let him quote a lower 45% risk of civilian deaths. He re-evaluates the strike point and assesses the probability of Alia's death at 45–65% . She makes him confirm only the lower figure, and then reports this up the chain of command. The strike is authorised, and Watts fires a missile. The building is destroyed, with Alia injured but unconscious. However, Danford also survived. Watts is ordered to fire a second missile, which strikes the site just as Alia's parents reach her. Her parents suffer some injuries and rush Alia to a hospital, where she dies.”

Placing myself into the shoes of the people having to make the decision, they are trained to assess and act in these types of situations and not burden themselves with moral and ethical decisions like this. Unfortunately, a loss of life is a loss of life. I would say YES the decision was the correct one, sacrifice the one for many, hence, casualties of war. On the flip side, this is also why soldiers often return with severe PTSD because they are trained to obey orders so as to avoid these types of dilemmas. - I only know a few and I wouldn't say they're stuck up. Some are confident, yes, all of them are outspoken.
- If you fit into any of the roles could you admit it? After reading the articles, it's clear I definitely dated a Narc, but I also see how I played the Martyr in this particular relationship. The intensity was not "karmic." It was a trauma bond. It wasn't astrological it was psychological ... Narc's are obsessive; they need attention. A video I watched on YouTube said, "Narcs are actors who need a stage - don't give them one." Gaslighting and blaming others is their signature, and when that doesn't work anymore, they lash out and can be dangerous, not just physically, emotionally, and psychologically but publically too - they will attempt to destroy reputations through lies, deceit, gossip, whatever it takes. They can even come across as shy and self-loathing, all a guise for attention! It blew my mind

That's interesting you mention his drinking problem. I know a capricorn sun aries moon who also had a drinking problem. He was in his sobriety journey attending AA meetings and all, and was not allowed to have sex for 1 year!!! 🤣🤪 i think he's 100% clean now. But similar to your guy, he had had some fights on the road. Crazy road rage. It was all over youtube. Him smashing windows of a car with his bare knuckle 🤣🤣

No, we broke it off 2 months ago , he's my karmic relationship that always shows up in my life. We have known each other since high school 20 odd years ago (I'm 40). Long gaps in between but we always seem to come together but it never works out.
YES even after all of these years he is STILL the sexiest man I've ever seen. When he's doing better in life, he's great fun and a joy to be around we get along so well but when the angry monster creeps out after he goes back to the bottle, it's chaotic, unpredictable, and so toxic. He's been through AA and at one point he had cleaned himself up really well and maintained steady work outside of gambling. He was married around part of that time. He had a second time when he returned to AA or did it himself and he was sober again and happy, this was about a year or so after his divorce but he lives such a turbulent life style . He relapsed again and has been off and on ever since. He's the type to pop up out of the blue or call me from nowhere. Oh well its what our story has been. Last time he came by professing his love and told me that we could finally make it work if I just let up on him drinking so much and let him live his life on his terms. I agreed and shut the door on his face it hurt like hell but I'm 40 now, he's a few years older... What am I supposed to do with someone who hasn't gotten it together by now?!
Oh also, Michael from Michaels Tarot is an Aries. I knew it. I can spot that sexy Arian energy ANYWHERE 😂 ...See my recent post of his, he says it near the end- This is my brother. I just called him and he says if he is really interested in someone he makes time for them, he will do things and give advice. He will remember the small things. He says he shows his interest by being of service and likes to feel needed because it makes him feel useful. He'll buy tiny gifts of a thing they said they like or talked about. If he is doing these things there is interest there.
