I hate to bring racism into this
But they killed off all the dothraki and almost all the unsullied to save white ppl
This reminds me of why lord of the rings could never be epic to me
They fought orks that looked black and ppl that looked Arab
Lots of racist undertones

Only one left?

I have not stopped talking about Episode 2 since it aired. Great episode that gave us a lot of closure to many of the characters arcs which unfortunately means a lot of them are going to die horribly next Sunday. If you're going to ask who will take the throne, you must first ask WHO LIVES AND WHO DIES AT THE BATTLE OF WINTERFEL.
Daeny / Jon: Not much to say here. It would be rather anti-climatic to have either die here. Verdict - Lives
Greyworm/Missandei: We see such a warm and loving moment as Greyworm promises to take her back to Naath after it is all said and done. You know what that means? ONE OR BOTH ARE GOING TO DIE HORRIBLY! Verdict - Dead
Jaime Lannister: To this day, Jaime Lannister is my favorite character out of the whole damn saga. Even while being berated by the Northern court, he remains true to what his character has become; "I promised to fight for the living. I intend to keep that promise". Don't take any butter from anyone, Jaime. Also, I think he's actually the Valonqar (Little Brother) that will kill Cersei. In the end, I have a feeling he'll end up the 1000th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Verdict - Lives
Ser Brienne of Tarth, Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Jaime knighting Brienne was my favorite scene of the entire episode and sent me on a feels trip! The huge smile on her face was pure validation after a life of being told she's not good enough and keeping her feelings repressed. It brings closure on a great character which must mean she dies horribly on the battlefield. Verdict - Dead
Bran Stark: He's still has a major role to play between the battle and the end. Verdict - Lives
Theon Greyjoy: His reunion with Sansa was perfect closure here. Their relation isn't a bond that is romantic but a bond from enduring trauma together. His redemption and quest for atonement will reach its close while defending Bran from the Nightking. Verdict - Dead
Sansa Stark: It's not her time. Verdict - Lives
Arya Stark: Okay small rant here. I f'ing HATE how Arya is being written this season. It's as if they ran out of good material and we're resorted to the trope that she needed a Gendry romance to complete her. She's far more interesting as the gal who has been honed into a fine edge by factors out of her control turning her into a survivor and a bad ass. Regardless, I'm on the fence on whether she lives or dies. They've run out of material for her so she may go out in a blaze of glory OR she ends up pregnant with Gendry's child thus the Baratheon line continues. Verdict - Could go either way
Gendry: He either lives to continue the Baratheon line or dies horribly because there's nothing else to do with the character. I'm leaning towards death. Verdict - Dead
Samwell Tarly: I think he still has more to play after the battle and he's the only male heir left for House
Tarly. Verdict - Lives
Gilly: On the other hand, Gilly is going to hide out in the crypt. The crypt is full dead people. The
Nightking raises dead people to serve him. SHE'S GOING TO DIE. Verdict - Dead
Ser Davos: Same as Gilly. He's going to be in the crypt apparently and they've been emphasizing "I'm not a fighter" for the last 2 episodes. The scene with the little girl reminding him of Shireen was touching and could serve as the basis of horror if my theory about the crypt comes to fruition and she becomes a white walker. Verdict - Dead
Drogon / Rhaegal:Daeny's dragons. I think we'll see one, if not both, die next Sunday. They threw in a line about "Will dragonfire work on the Nightking?" in the episode and I think we'll see the answer to that question.
Ghost / Nymeria: I was so happy to see Ghost in the background (sparkle motion IT, JON. WHY DIDN'T YOU PET HIM). My gut tells me Nymeria + her pack will show up to save/fight with Arya. Due to the budget being spent on dragon CGI, I don't forsee Ghost and Nymeria surviving the battle lol. Verdict - Dead
Podrick Payne: MY BOY TRI-POD BETTER treetrunkING LIVE UNTIL THE END. In this episode we discover he has a beautiful voice as he sings Jenny of Oldstones. This was my other favorite scene since it's a nod to Pippin singing The Edge of NIght in Lord of the Rings and we see all the characters taking whatever solace they can as the battle is about to start. Verdict - Lives
Ser Jorah: One of the Mormonts has to live so the House can continue meaning the other will die horribly. I suspect it will be Jorah. Verdict - Dead
The Hound: He HAS to survive so we have a Cleganebowl. Verdict - Lives
Beric Dondarrion: He's died 19 times. His priest is dead. He's DEADER THAN FRIED CHICKEN. Verdict - Dead.
Tormund: They don't really have anymore material for him but sparkle motion I love the big bastard. I still hope he's going to have GREAT BIG MONSTERS some day with Brienne. Verdict - Lives?
Note: None of this is based off any evidence beyond just enjoying the series and shooting the butter with friends about it. Post your predictions!
U R smart, sir.
I agree with everything you wrote, except I think Tormund is more likely to die than Jorah. Pod too. I'm very worried about those very "safe" crypts. Do you think Varys is gonna die?click to expand
