I personally think those who truly believe in reincarnation are giving themselves way too much credit.
Are we really, individually, that important that we should be given multiple chances at life? puhlease. Our purpose is here and now. Which is why we were chosen to live on Earth now rather than in ancient Egypt, for example.

makes complete sense to me. scares me honestly. but makes sense...it certainly isn't always a good thing to look forward to another life--not if u have some treetrunked up karma in your near future. i highly doubt u think ppl r going to "literally burn in hell" 4 eternity for their sins--and u said u believed in souls sooooo i wonder what happens

as for truly evil people-personally, i don't think they r going to get off the hook that easily. i.e. by dying and that's the end. seems like the world was much better designed than that

also, would we really know if we had past lives? too much memory if u ask me. but some who have practiced (sp?) meditation say when u get into a reallllly deep state they start coming to u--freaky stuff, i never tried it

I don't know what I believe in, as far as afterlife. But I don't believe in reincarnation.
