see what happens when i pop to england for a few days? it all kicks off and i have threads with zillions of comments to read and my eyes are totally broken from hardly any sleep. so i can't be arsed i'm afraid  did anyone catch the opening ceremony of the olympics....she says, moving right along....??? omg...i cried throughout the whole damn thing more or less. it was just so awesome. made me proud to have grown up in london. the thousand drummers must've been unbelievable had you been there!! i was in a tiny hotel room and so couldn't even have it loud. wow. spectacular. this older couple from new zealand on my flight to spain had actually been there with their daughter who is involved in organising the british rowing team. they were actually welling up telling me about it...said each and every one of the 7,500 volunteer participants were totally in the zone. they had staff from the national health service and patients of the famous children's hospital great ormond street and choirs and mike oldfield and mr bean and the english scientiest dude who invented the world wide web (which i never knew)!! course, i'm sure the revenue from the games won't come close to how much it's cost the UK.....those doctors and nurses should probably be considering their appearance as their annual bonus, lol. btw...am i the only scorp who runs and hides from drama?? |

| yeah...i went to do some business and take my daughter back to her dad....saw my son briefly at the airport...near 'nuff dissolved him with tears for about 20 minutes....now i'm back. it was a whirlwind trip involving business with a leo i've known for years...so lots of fine dining and quaffing of cabernet sauvignon...oh yeah, with some meetings thrown in. was probs a bit squiffy when watching the olympics opening but when the kids started singing 'danny boy' i was in BITS, lol...cos i used to sing it to my baby boy of the same name. |
