Pontypool

Both films are (pretty much) set in one room, and vary in parts from bad to good when it comes to dialogue and holding interest, but worth watching either way.

The Killing Room.
Another one room film, really good imo, more 'Big Brother' than the other two mentioned above, all three are worth watching if you can sit out the more dodgy parts.
(I got the impression there was hope for scope/more with the very last scene with Pontypool, and it seems totally tacked on at the end).

Moonrise Kingdom
I thought it would be one of those "Nice try Mr Director but you're best days are behind you" -experiences, but boy was I wrong. I had a pleasant smile on my face throughout the whole thing! One of the best movies I've seen this year.

Promoetheus
Ambitious settings with a so-so plot. I wasn't satisfied with the fact that it's just another twist on the whole 'Alien' franchise. How many movies can they make about snake-like aliens crawling around inside human bodies?

Dark Shadows
Underachievment by a tired Burton who obviousely didn't even give it an honest shot. Still, I did find myself laughing more often than I thought I would. Oh and I never realized how hot Eva Green is. I'd like to suck her legs!!!

Yes, very. Don't waste money buying a ticket to see it. It's the weirdest, most boring movie. A chick flick would be way better than that crap. Seriously.

Well, if you like phony 12 pack abs and confusing deductions of fictional landmarks and snake-like slimy attackers then sure, it's not that bad. It was the best nap I had in a long time though.
