Hey- I've got a Sun and Mercury in Scorpio, and a moon in Cancer too.

Well, I can do a little bit :-)
Let's see...
Your sun signs are both feminine, so there isn't any big obstacle there.
You're moons are both in water signs, trine moons. That is good in the emotional department, as you'll understand each other fairly well.
His Mars is in Sagittarius, and your Venus is in Leo, another trine, which is a sign of good "chemistry", as they are both in fire signs.
Your Venus is sextile his saturn, and his venus is sextile your saturn, good signs.
His Mars could be conjunct (depending on the degrees which I don't know) your Saturn. If it is, its not good, but its probably not.
So overall, this seems like a pretty good relationship, sign wise at least.
