Capricorn lady and Cancer man?

Me (cap-girl) never seem to find someone that matches me.
I don't get along with neither taurus guys nor virgo's.
And capricorns are too much the same as me. No excitement.
So was thinking about polar opposites. Should I try for a cancer guy?
What I've read about them, caps and cancers seem to have much in common.
A love for the old/history, traditions,security...
Cos there is a guy who's a crab which I truly adore.. do you think it could work out?

Yes, Blackgoat I have experience with combination -- my advice is that this combo works better when both parties are pass the age of 25 (this being on the cancer man's part and not the capricorn female's part). I heard this was an ideal combination too ... honestly the only problem is the "maturity timeline". Go to the capricorn board and look up some of my posts. Skim through them and you'll see the results of a young cappy/crabby combination.

Maturity has nothing to do with it. Cancer - Capricorn are two people with completely different takes on life. It may start out OK but it won't work in the long run.

Cappy, explain again how it is that you have experience with this combination? Were you actually involved in a "more than friends" relationship with a cancer?
