I see everyone is a fan of the Mary of Mount Carmel prayer! lol! My friend pasted it on to me about two years ago. Some amazing things have resulted from this little prayer.

PRAYER TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN

Oh most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. O, Star of the Sea, help me and show me, herein you are my mother. Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth! I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in this necessity. There are none that can withstand your power. Oh, show me herein that you are my mother. Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee (say three times). Holy Mother, I place this cause in your hands (say three times). Holy Spirit, you who solve all my problems, light all roads so thatI can attain my goal. You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget all evil against me and that in all instances in my life you are with me. I want in this short prayer to thank you for all things as I confirm once again that I never want to be separated from you in eternal glory. Thank you for your mercy toward me and mine.

hmmmm.... but arent we supposed to pray to our Father in heaven in the name of christ???? didnt jesus christ himself teach us how to pray and address our heavenly father??? (The Lord's prayer )

'Our father who art in heaven... '

and arent we constantly admonished in the scriptures to call upon the father in HIS (jesus christ's ) name 'for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved'....... ????????

Catholics pray to Mary and other saints asking them to pray for them. It is similar to asking a friend to pray for you.

Kool... but its good to communicate directly with your father in heaven.. imagine how frustrated you would get if your kid never spoke to ya and always asked your older daughter to speak to u for him/her.....You would definitely want her to come talk DIRECTLY to ya....

Amen. Thank You for your love towards me and my loved ones.
