Rising Signs Degree of Influence

I am a female Sag and have found that I have many other traits that dominate my soul other than Sag.

I am curious as to anyone who knows their rising sign and the degree of that influence.

I don't know mine, as no-one remembers what time of day I was born. I have requested a copy of my birth certificate and hopefully will receive it soon.

I am so curious.

Hi! I am a female Aquarian and I agree with you about other influences. I was actually quite disappointed when I discovered that my rising sign is Capricorn! But, it did explain why I sometimes felt at odds with myself! An inner conflict of sorts...I have learned to focus on the positives and try to dispel negativity. However, I am still a work in progress...
A book that may be helpful for you once you know your time of birth is by Joanna Martine Woolfolk and is called "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need". It is very user friendly and you will find out not only your rising sign, but also your moon sign and other influences...

Hi again. I guess I didn't go into the degree of influence I feel my rising sign has...

I feel most comfortable with my Aquarianism...friendly, honest, a bit crazy, thinking of the greater good for all of humanity, witty and fun...
My Capricorn mask which is what I present to others initially and perhaps those I do not trust never get beyond it makes me appear more serious, conventional, and sometimes even cold...

That is perhaps why I feel their is an internal conflict at times...

When people become a good friend of mine they rarely see my "mask" except around other strangers...especially if I am uncomfortable...

But, I suppose that is not entirely correct...it is part of me...
It makes me have a strong sense of responsibility and an almost anal need to be early....never late! But, in general, I am an easy going person...

Wow, what a struggle it seems you have. I haven't recieved my birthtime yet. I wonder if I have a capricorn rising sign too. Wouldn't that be crazy! Earth and fire. But hey, it could be a water sign. Ouch! Fire and water!?!

Of course the conflicts I feel I have could be just a series of fear and repression. I have been discovering a lot about myself recently, during moments of retrospect.

Thanks for the book suggestion! I can hardly wait to find it, will take a trip to the bookstore this weekend. Sounds very interesting. I don't know much about how the planets affect us, but I do know that there are some horoscopes that have predicted more than coincidence for me.

Uncanny how accurate they can be. Not all of them. But some. They encourage me to look forward to the future- I need that, I am a dreamer.
