Well, my friend is a Scorpio, and he has an Aquarius rising. He's fun to be around and has good ideas and everything, but he's a little bit weird. I can't describe it. He just is. He's never really "in style ", if you wanna call it that... more like the complete opposite, but I don't know if that's on purpose, or if he just doesn't care. He never really seems to be totally "with it", or very into real problems, like school or making money. He's always wasting time, and sometimes I even see him talking to himself while walking. He always has this spaced out kind of look in his eyes. Other than that, he's an extremist and EXTREMELY rebellious. He had shoulder length hair, and one day he came in and he had shaved it down to the skin, and when I asked him why he did it he answered "because it's becoming popular for guys to grow their hair out". He went from shoulder length hair to none all at once JUST because it was becoming popular to grow your hair out.. that's pretty extremist if you ask me. Why so out there though? He's like this with EVERYTHING, and it can get a little bit annoying. I don't know why he likes to go against everything, no matter what, in the most extreme way he can. If you tell him to do something, he'll do the complete opposite just to piss you off. It seems as if he's trying to prove something somehow, and it's making me really mad, and I've told him, but he said he doesn't care what I think. He's not into astrology, but I am, and I wanted to know if this had anything to do with those two placements he has? I'll give you his whole chart just for reference. Thanks.

He's not being rebellious we Scorpios love to shock people and love the reaction. We are so confident and comfortable with ourselves that we really don't care what others think as long as we like it or it makes sense to us. We do what we feel like doing because we always come out smelling like a rose. You being a Cappy you have this thing where you like to control and think that people should act according to what you think is right and what is wrong. We are not interested in being controlled or controlling anyone and we do not like being told what to do and not to do. He probably talks to himself because he is working out a serious problem that is bothering him emotionally or mentally. We work our own problems out by talking to ourselves or doing it silently. You have two choices, either accept him for who he is faults and all or stop being friends with him. He is not looking to change you or tell you what to do, so stop trying to change him and telling him what to do. It's that simple.

I guess you're right, I just can't seem to get it through my head how he and you all couldn't care less of what people think of you at all. Most people don't like someone who's so against everything and stubborn, you know? It's odd though, because he doesn't seem to really care about having friends, either. I mean, he can be friendly and everything and strike up a conversation with someone, but most times I've seen him do it he just starts it off like he's in the middle of a conversation. He says the weirdest stuff, too. No small talk. It just seems odd to me. I kind of admire him for how much of an individual he is, or tries to be, but it does get annoying to me.. probably because of my caring about my reputation. I don't really hang out with him often because (call me stereotypical and mean- I can understand) I don't enjoy being with people that make me look bad.

As far as him not needing any friends, that's typical of scorpios. My motto has always been "I came into this world alone, I'm going to leave this world alone".

That's not because you don't WANT friends ...

...that's because people tend to hurt you by

- being superficial "Facebook Friends"
- being wishy-washy
- not understanding DEVOTION

- and therefore just not being WORTHY of your friendship.
========================================================
You have no issue with dying alone. But it would suck to
think someone would give you the DEVOTION to stick with you
until the bitter end ... and then not do it ... especially
after you sacrificed so much for "them" ... (like always).

****this is not a Scorpio trait.. this is a symptom called auditory hallucination. ***

"I don't know why he likes to go against everything, no matter what, in the most extreme way he can. If you tell him to do something, he'll do the complete opposite just to piss you off. *** everybody is like this at some point, esp teenagers. there's a psychological term for this: external locust of control. it's not a Scorpio trait alone, it can be a Gemini, cancer, Taurus, etc with external locust of control. what does it mean? he feels powerless within, thus making you angry or rebelling against society to make him feel powerful. you (the environment) are his source of power. teenagers do this a lot, but deep within, they feel weak, unsure, and scared.****

He has Aquarius rising *and* an Aquarius moon. The non-conformist thing is VERY Aquarian. Non-conformist (Aquarius) + extremist (Scorp) = non conformist extremist.

LOL! That's the first thing I noticed, too. Aquarius and Scorpio are also both fixed energy, so this guy is even more stubborn than your average bear. Trying to change him, aside from being offensive, would be like beating your head against a brick wall.

Great answer. I as a Cancer and water sign, don't get along well with them for this reason and especially don't see a long-term love out of that.
