While your actions may have caused discomfort, giving him space and showing genuine respect for his boundaries can help rebuild trust. Open communication and patience are key. There is still a chance to mend the friendship if both of you are willing to talk and clarify intentions. Focus on respecting his feelings and avoid rushing the process.

Long story short.
I am interested in a taurus. Been friends for a while, have started having feelings. Thought I would be nice to him by doing something for his bday april 30, turning 40 by creating photo book for him, pics of him and his family only.
So via facebook I sent message to his family asking for his baby pix, asking them not to tell him, as I wanted to be a surprise. But somehow, someone ended up telling him.
His family does not know me, I guess now they are questioning him about me. I think it is making him uncomfortable or something, he told me not to email his family anymore, and although he appreciated me doing something nice for him maybe I should not do it after all.
I am afraid, I might have lost his friendship. We haven't really talked after that, only via email.
He had mentioned before about us getting together but we never really got into a relationship, but remained really close as friends. We always said goodbyes with hug and kiss on lips, ended up making out a some times, obviously we both have feelings for each other.
For now I am just keeping a distance, and giving him space, until things cool down little bit, then maybe try to talk. I don't want to lose him. What do you experts think, have I lost him or is there still chance?
I told him my intention was only to do something nice for him nothing else.
