Do you have a friend that you would consider being more intimate with...anyone...anyone?

That's a bad move i think. You can end up destroying your friendship and becoming bitter enemies. Once you make that first move, nothing will be the same again u know.

So are you meaning intimate by casual sex relationship? If that's the case then i think it all depends on your friend and how it will affect your relationship. Sex with friends often leads to a situation where you rely on them for sex and forget about even pursuing your own endeavours to find a partner, what is your friend meets someone and dosen't want to keep going about their intimatcy with you? How would you feel? Chances are that if you initiated the intimacy that when you see your friend out with his or her new partner, you may feel resentment and jealousy, asking yourself "i bet im so much better to them than they are."

It's a downward spiral and one of you will eventually get hurt.
