What Is He Really Saying? Single Gals

Interpreting What Men Say to Single Gals

Men often use indirect language to avoid rejection or express uncertainty. Phrases like I will call you or suggest activities may hide hesitation or disinterest. Understanding these signals helps you better interpret their true intentions and decide your next move in dating.

He says: I'll call you
Translation: I really mean to call but I hate rejection or worse let down once we do go out? Or what if it actually works? I don?t know what I want, but the thought of giving up my freedom is freakyyyy!

He says: So maybe we could grab a drink/go to a movie/catch a concert (fill in the blank with activity of choice) or something?
Translation: I think you're really hot and want to ask you out, but I don?t have the guts to say it point blank. This way, if you say no, I?m not rejected.

He says: I think you?re a great person.
Translation: I?m not really interested in you romantically.

He says: Nothing about seeing you again
Translation: He?s not planning on it.

Ah ha ha I do that too ! Like when I've already got something planned for the next day that he doesn't need to know until... the next day, I make sure to walk off saying "k I'll call u tomorrow"

And I have a shirt that says exactly that "Don't call me" in the front and "I'll call you" in the back, anywho it's funny cuz I've been asked for my number quite a few times while wearing it and I was thinking- that goes to show that men like to do the opposite because they only see the part that says 'don't call me' 😛 Man I like that shirt 🙂 too bad it's baggy and shrunken now ha ha ha
