I thought etching was involved,it looks intricate.
+1 on the macgyvering with the tools

It reminded me a little of those black sheets/cards that one can etch a picture out on and it appears silver/shiny.
I was atrocious with oils at college, smears and blotches everywhere. although once it dried you could always keep layering it on heh.

Oh I haven't done anything with oils and such for years lol, that was 17-18 at college. I agree on the drying though.
I tried some sketching not too long back they're around somewhere under a pile of something lol, I'll scan them in at some point.

i love your work as well, especially 'indecision'! there's a certain darkness to it even with the light colors. i see it as she's chained by love, weighing the odds of something, feels disconnected from herself spiritually. it's really beautiful!
