Also, the guide takes the guesswork out of deciding which routes to take and where to stop. You can arrange for bike tours from the most primitive to the most luxurious accommodations. You aren't too picky about which island to go to because you aren't likely to leave the resort anyway. Having said that, there are a few to avoid because the last thing you might want is being harassed by persistent vendors along the beach while you are trying to read/work on your tan. You also want to feel safe so might I suggest places like: Cayman Islands, Bermuda (in the late spring/summer only!) Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Antigua, US or British Virgin Islands - not that you have to be one  I'm sure there are many others, but this should give you a starting point. Remember, if you travel during hurricane season (especially September to November) you will see cheaper prices, perhaps less sun, but the chances of a nasty storm landing on you are miniscule.
