*Rankings are based on a point scoring index, developed by the Quality of Living Survey. Vienna scored 108.6, while Baghdad scores 14.4. Cities were ranked against New York, as the base city, which had an index score of 100. The 2009 Quality of Living Survey covers 215 cities world wide.

Kudo's of course to my CANADA for listing twice in the top 15 world class cities, and as a Country consistently ranked 1 or 2 for quality of life in the world. =)

A few other places i'd like to visit on or off the list - Vienna Austria, Sydney Australia, Germany & New Zealand, Paris France, Venice Italy, states of Colorado or Maine.. to name a few.

ha, ha, shaks, i know you're being funny, but why an attempt; it's a pleasure for me, and i might like to educate along the way. jt had a pretty neat q the other day about my c, on the politcs board. Ask anytime.. You know, it's not ALL about the U.S, obama & the Jonas brothers, so i think you need to visit a few more threads along the way..lol We too, have things to offer, share and be proud of..

btw, fwiw, I think your country, is quite beautiful, too.

There are some changes that have occured in cities population this year, so I've decided to update this article according to new data.

Do you live in a big city or a small town? Which one is better? Sometimes people dispute about this. The truth is both of them have their advantages and disadvantages. It’s up to you! As for me, I love big cities! The big city is the place where all industrial, cultural and educational centers are situated. In big cities you can find museums, theaters, clubs, cinemas, big shops and hospitals, comfortable modern flats. Living in a huge metropolis you’ll never be bored, you can always find something interesting for you. Here is a list of the top 11 largest urban agglomerations in the world. Agglomerations include a central city and neighboring communities linked to it. Some agglomerations have more than one central city. Each of these cities is like a separate small country.

1. Tokyo

Country: Japan
