Calling those with fire Venus AND fire Mars

What do you look for in love? What are your overall goals in love? What is the type of person who could lasso your independent and fiery heart? Not confine you to a box type, but someone who you truly desire and are beginning to love and wouldn't mind being involved with for a long period of time? Who would not necessarily win the conquest but share the conquest with you since you both are gaining each other as a partner? Who would be "the ideal" lover and their love style? Of course I have read articles on my own, but I think getting opinions from individuals is much more enlightening. And if you don't mind, share these and some of your other placements🙂



I ask this because I have a Sag Mars, but I have a water Venus. In other words, I want the best of both worlds. Independence and security/closeness. However I never seem to be able to choose between what I want at one given time. It varies. It's like being bipolar in the matters of the heart. One day you're wanting to do your own thing and the next you just want someone to be there for you and be there with you. It's somewhat difficult to deal with I would say. I tend to attract Fire Mars & Venus. I also however tend to attract Air Mars & Venus. I HAVE dealt with other fire/water mars/venus people but it does not seem to work....those with earth/earth also do not work. I don't know how to describe it. It's like we are on different wavelengths even though we are supposed to be similar. I was so close to having an Air Venus! Sometimes I wonder what would have been different...but I think I am an interesting little paradox all on my own and I am working through to find a happy balance 🙂

I personally have a leo venus and leo mars. I usually want love to be openly affectionate, loyalty is a so huge for me. I am very much a person who needs alone time as well. I like it when me and a SO can be together and lovey dovey, but also do our own thing and not feel like we constantly need to be together. I like being told I am loved a lot. I like being kissed and paraded around. I want someone to be proud to have me. I am very selective when it comes to partners.

@AM, I did not realize you had Aries in both Mars and Venus! Yet your Scorp has Venus in Scorp right? So maybe my Scorp Venus/Sag Mars won't be doomed after all😄 fire-fire or air-air combos are what I tend to attract. Sometimes I wonder if I'm too boring for these pairs. Not that I am literally boring, but I can be timid occasionally...not that that constitutes as being boring, but that is how I correlate it. It mainly depends on the day. There are days I am combative and all I do is argue. There are other days where I don't know what to say and I am mainly in my head. It seems to work against what I attract. So I was curious🙂

It's very strange. This gives me a grasp of what fire looks for. My best friend has her Venus in Aries (retrograde) but her Mars is in Cancer, so even though her Venus Aries could answer my questions, her mars conflicts with her venus. As does my Venus and Mars making every relationship very interesting.

Sag Venus and Mars exactly conjunct. As un-sagittarian as this might sound to some, loyalty is the most important thing to me. I do have these 2 planets square Saturn so that could be why. And as much as I need an adventurous, fiery and dominant man, I also need him to be more emotional than I am...

Sag Mars in the 8th house and Venus in Scorpio in the 8th house...
I look for stability in a person, a great sense of humor to match mine, and wit ....gotta have that wit/common sense going on with a good splash of intelligence.

When you ask about goals for love, it sounds too unnatural, like it's an expectation. If I'm with someone and they have my full attention, I'm good. I guess you'd call that "in sync."

I also don't like to be "boxed in" as you put it. I set that straight from the beginning, I'll communicate and let you know what's going on please respect that and I'll do the same for you. I do like my alone time to recharge and the freedom to do so. If that's a problem...then there's going to be a problem.

The long term relationships I've been in worked quite well for a very, very long time. (A Taurus & a Virgo) However, I find dating a pain in the ass. I don't like it at all. I am looking right now for a long term relationship, but not really looking. I have the faith if it's meant to be it will happen. If that doesn't happen I'm good with that. I refuse to settle, nor is it in me to string someone along. If it's not doing it for me, I speak up. I'd rather be by myself than to live that lie. I guess overall, I've never had a problem with my Mars & Venus. What I learned from them both is patience. I think that comes from the 8th house placements. Cuz, I have patience of steel. My advice to you, is don't dwell so much on the immediate time frame when you meet someone and don't assume. Give it a chance to see if the little things can grow to match your desires without force. Keep the astrology out of it for starters and get to know the person. Patience 😉

I has a sagittarius mars, and a cap Venus. I honestly kinda gave up on relationships and cuddle with a but load of men. Ilike possessive men, I look for some one who will tie me down and have strong morals and standards. Some one who is my best friend and is playful about life, humor, good sex, intelligent conversations and an open mind that sees no limits is very important to me.
