Hey I found this article a few years ago on another site but thought I would share this with anyone whom might be interested - it's a study based on how people rank as being the best or worst drivers based on the amount of insurance claims this Australian insurance company collected over a period of time - it's rather interesting:

I'm the same way with the speeding sb - my Virgo friend told me that I shouldn't speed but I told her that despite that I used to have a few speeding tickets - I now have a clean driving record and also only speed if there is an open road (though still keeping an eye out for the well known speed traps of course at the same time 🙂 My brother's a Pieces and he ended up rear ending my first car (luckily it was an 88 Sentra - I now have an 03 Sentra SE-R Spec-V which nobody drives but me) into a tree - my mom (Cancer) has had 2 accidents in the past like 4 years though and my first ex (Taurus) was listening to music and ran into someone at an intersection (though she argued that the reason she couldn't stop was cause the pebbles in the road made her car slide into the intersection - and she got away w/ that! lol - I know she wasn't paying attention but of course I'm not the judge either)

"First Taurus. Yes, Taurus can be obstinate and inflexible, but they are also the most introverted and self absorbed of all the signs. Their natural path in life is to think about their own body -- its immediate comfort and needs -- and to deal with only the most tangible and immediate of realities. Their thinking as drivers may run like this. My stomach is full, the temperature in the car is pretty good, the noise level is good, I'm riding right at 60, I don't have to use the bathroom for at least another hour and there's plenty of gas in the tank. At a very fundamental level, the world outside the chassis of their car may not exist at all."

OMG! THAT IS TOOOO ACCURATE! FREAKED ME OUT! LMAO! I do do that! I get so comfortable on the freeway or on open roads lol I adjust my seat to a perfect laid back position, music, have my drink on hand, good temp, cruise control and chillllll all the way to my destination 😛 LOL *sigh* just thinking about it relaxes me lol

BUT, I AM a good driver... I may get flipped off a lot and honked at and run stops and red lights and cut infront of people or even drive against traffic or ignore *whistles* signs of the road to make my drive easier or more convenient (my common self-absorbed sense tells me there is no barriers lol) BUT I have never had an accident! That would be because I have an EXCELLENT reaction 🙂 And WOW am I good at handling a car in a near chaotic situation, bam bam bam perfect coodination, timing and handling! Or maybe I've learned because I've needed to lol OOOOOOOOh how I love to drive! Feeeeel the road, the car. I DO scare people lol My FAV. CURVES muah ha ha ha

It's the handling, not the speed that I love 🙂 Speed on curves... yes, nice. My crabby is an EXCELLENT driver. He can drive KRAZY, especially on those crazy unending curves up in the mountains like no one I've ever met before. Almost makes me crinnnnnge to look into the fog down below! An aries I dated was also a crazy driver but my crabby has excellent PRECISION. Then there was that scorp who I thought for sure would kill me on curves also... ummmm sexy, but I didn't see more grace in the handling and driving. Slightly more abrupt braking.

I can be a slow driver but I get those impulsive urges often too 😛 But I do have to say that two of my Taurus cousins have wrecked soooo many cars! Lol

Wait, I take that back... I did back up into a car once. But that was because I convinced myself that I knew how to drive stick perfectly when I'd only driven on the freeway but never taken the time to try REVERSE lol Same thing but I just forgot about that damn clutch lol Too much gas ha ha ha but aaah just a few scratches 🙂 Wasn't my car though and even though I offered to pay he didn't let me.
