understanding my Leo sun/Scorp moon man

Hello all!

I have been subtly flirting with this leo guy for about 4 months now and we had been making plans to go out for awhile but had been having trouble because of our schedules (he's a leo sun I'm a capricorn sun, both busy overachievers) it actually took 4 months to set a date. Lol. Anyway we finally went out last night and I have to say it was one of the best first dates every, there was some real chemistry going on there and I am not the type of person to "feel" chemistry from most people.
He's a scorpio moon w/ a Venus in virgo and a mars in cancer and I'm a capricorn moon w/ a Venus in aqua and mars in scorpio. Doesn't seem like such a hot match to me at first glance. He seems very judge mental and critical of others esp women, and I challenge everything he says, which I am sure doesn't compliment his leo sun. Both of us like to be in charge. But I really enjoyed his company and I am extremely sexually attracted to him and I'm pretty he feels the same. The only explanation that I can come up w/ for this is the scorpio influence in both of our charts.
after he dropped me off he called two hours later and asked me if I wanted to go work out (at 12:00 am), some ppl wouldn't find this behavior attractive, and if it were anyone else I would have declined.

soooo on sat, after not speaking since our date, he txt's me and tells me that he wants to see me, to which I replied "OK". I assumed he would call or text when he wanted to hang out. This was early in the day. Nightfall came, and I began to think he changed his mind abt hanging, and I honestly wasn't too mad b/c I was out w/ friends. However txt me around 10pm asking what I was doing.
Honestly I was a bit annoyed by the fact that he texted me at such a late time so I decided not to reply (I was home by this time). An hour went by and he sent me a message saying "I guess ur busy or sleep, goodnight." I still didn't answer. I felt like if seeing me was really a concern for him he would have contacted me at a decent time.
Next morning, I sent him a txt telling him that I was n the bed and I missed his txt. I also wished him good luck on a particular event he had coming up. No reply.
Naturally I refuse to call or text him again, because I kno he got my txt. And I pretty sure he is just being an ******* . So ill just be a b*tch back. I don't even understand why he's even so pissy. Maybe I'm being a bit cold, but I feel like he runs hot and cold w/ me anyways.

Contd- Honestly im trying to watch myself with the way that i react to this dude's actions because of my own Scorpio Placement. Dude tries to play like he's so hard but i kno he's not as tough as he wants me to believe, and im okay with that. but i think he keeps trying to take extraordinary measures to piss me off and i have Scorpio in MY MARS aka the planet of aggression. Im mean beyond words when pissed or angry, and i REALLY dont want him to see this side of me. everytime he ignores me or tries one of his "Scorpio Moon" tactics, i can only think to myself. You're a Cancer Mars, I'm a Scorpio Moon do you really wanna go there. I would eat him up, spit him out, and make him weary of a woman for the rest of his life. Im not scared of him, im not begging for his attention, i want to know how to explain to him that there is no need for games without hurting his ego.
