Venus in Aries
Posted by wickedI have done very well with Aries men (not sure their other placements), but some of them got a bit suffocating for me.
I have had this problem.... go after what we can't have. I mean when we have it, we.kick it to the curbs. Such a weird placement. Butnits a passionate placement. How to avoid chasing/scaring a guy away? U need someone who is aggressive and patient. My husband is a triple aries (sun, mercury and asc) and mars in leo and venus in taurus.. So he would chase me. I would run away. Then I would come back. With full force. And we would mindblowing sex. Its fun.
U need a guy who will give you your space but want u badly in his life.
My most recent mishaps have been with:
Cap Sun/Aqua Moon/Aqua Venus/Mars Pisces: very push/pull. he would express emotions and I would reciprocate and then he would shut down, I would chase him, he would come back full force, make all these promises about how he was going to be more emotion and then he wouldn't be so I would shut down, then he would shut down. Rinse, repeat.
Libra Sun/Aqua Moon/Libra Venus/Mars Virgo: he chased me, I chased him, he backed off, I chased him some more, he came back, then got scared and backed off, rinse, repeat.
Aquarius Sun/Capricorn Moon/Cap Venus/Scorp Mars: to be determined.
Not sure what the hell is up with my going for all this Aqua/Cap energy but it's obviously not working out for me.

You would also do well with Pisces, Libra - and I noticed Cap men like to be chased.
I would not recommend Scorpio.
Cap man...I don't even know. I loved chasing him, but I felt like it would have gone on forever.
Scorpio was hands down the most tumultuous relationship I've ever had.

I am definitely strange and I definitely go for men who do not look like they belong with me haha. I also relate to the independence. I have a lot of placements in line with my loving my freedom, so the whole chasing men thing is very uncharacteristic of the rest of my personality, maybe that's why eventhough it comes so naturally to me and I sort of like it (I think?), it still makes me uncomfortable that I scare men away with this habit.
I do find that many men who are interested in me, I friendzone them. I have more than a couple male friends who have been trying to get out of the friendzone with me for years, but I simply cannot see them romantically even when I am trying to be open minded to it.

It kind of sucks because relationships--of any kind, not just romantic--require some compromise. But even my Libra moon and rising aren't enough to overcome Uranus. I literally feel sick and agitated in my body if I feel that I'm being forced to do something I don't want to do for the sake of someone else.
I do NOT like being forced to do anything either. In friendships too. I travel a lot on my own and my friends are constantly asking me if they can tag along and I start getting all nervous and annoyed just at the thought of it.

Maybe I will be single forever. It doesn't sound horrible. I can just have steamy love affairs all over the world and leave a path of confused men.

Think of it like this.... you want to be able to go out and attract the people who want you for you, not wait for that person to (find) you.
Waiting will not bring you that guy, finding the right "bait" to pull that guy in. That's your golden ticket.
Its like when your dog runs away from you. You don't really wait for him to come back do you? Nor do you just chase him down. You have to attract the dog with a whistle, a dog treat, a sweet voice. Then he comes back to you!

I dated a cap with Aqua Venus once. He shown interest in me first by liking the things I liked.. Once I liked him back he just fell back and didn't do anything. Very tumultuous 2 years of me trying to get him to show interest (we were both fire moons and his sag Mars opposed my gem Mars)
Once I let that go I sworn Aqua Venus men off. Too nonchalant for me. Learnt my lesson from it.
My fiancé (a triple Virgo with libra Venus and cap Mars) was interested in me first. I thought he looked hot but didn't fancy him. After nearly a year of persistence I decided to go out on a date with him, mainly to move on from my ex.. Never looked back. There were times I had to initiate, but I really don't mind as long as the other is putting in just as much effort.
That's the one thing my ex taught me; there needs to be a pretty equal amount reciprocation.

So my old pattern was peacing out the moment I suspected they weren't interested, then I realized I should be more patient, but that's what I tried to be with the Cap and then I just started to have more and more feelings all the while trying to figure out if he had ANY. Astrology and society in general I feel look down on certain Aries Venus characteristics.

Sure you risk initiating too much (I'm an Aries moon/mer/Venus, I know a thing or two about that lol)..
But like a said just make sure the other person is actually genuinely into you and makes the effort in the relationship, and you'll be fine.
Also, what I like about my Gemini Mars is that it lessens my Venus intensity. It makes me more laid back, letting the guy take the lead.
I am not so aggressive that I can't let a guy lead, but sometimes I just wish everyone were more forthcoming like I am....no games, just "hey I like you let's try this."

I do have a bit of an ego that I'm working on...I typically don't like to accept that someone is simply not that into me, especially when I'm convinced that they should be, so maybe that's why I psychoanalyze every situation, but I would REALLY like to just chill the fuck out and let the guy do the work.

You chase men? That's a big turnoff, in my opinion. I would just assume you, the woman, is desperate, damaged, not thinking things through, immature at love matters, needy, and it sounds like you aren't sure whether you truly know if you want to be the person.

I'm not trying to change the framework of my existence or my personality...I'm fucking awesome, I would just like to be able to relate better to people who have a more difficult time receiving my energy. You learn a lot from those who are different, but my initial "energy" scares some off before we even get to that point so I'd like to change that.
Your Uranus sagit is probably around the 3rd house, so it's how you think and communicate...it should be harmonious since you're a Gemini with Libra rising. I didn't mind "chasing" him when he would pull back, but when I did come back, I needed reassurance from him too. He couldn't use his words or make himself even remotely vulnerable, so...that's not a match for me. =D
