My boyfriend recently told me he has commitment issues, that's why he distances himself and he said it's not good. When i told him i love him,all he said was I lock up my feelings with emotional armor because I was cheated on and hurt in the past.He also said I have feelings for you but I think i'm in denial.Just 2 weeks ago we got really close ,I stayed at his place for a week cause we live far from eachother and we got super close he started to show signs that he was really really into me.He would not stop cuddling me and holding my hand,we didn't even have much sex.He was just very affectionate and lovey dovey and ive never seen this side of him. After I left he suddenly became distant.Stopped contacting me much, stopped initiating, only answered me when i contacted him.Basically,he has become distant and i don't know what to do.Should I continue initiating contact and let him answer or should I just stop all initiating and wait for him?I just worry that if i stop initiating he'll think that i lost interest because he has commitment issues and he'll think i dont care for him anymore.😢 Also, him saying that he's in denial means he doesn't love me?He never really said I love you. What should I do guys? This whole situation i driving me insane 😢

Also, when a man, any man, tells you he has a problem with commitment, BELIEVE HIM!!! No matter what you do or don't do, he will not commit. Basically, he's telling you he's not interested in a committed relationship. Thus, with a man like this, enjoy the ride, if you wish, but don't develop any feelings or have any expectations because he will not be willing to be the boyfriend you are wanting.

If I were you, I'd move on to someone else. Why put all this effort into something that he is clearing telling you he doesn't want?
