CAPRICORN Drinking style
Capricorn is usually described as practical, steadfast,money-hungry and status-thirsty -- no wonder they get left off the astrological chickentail-party list. But this is the sign of David Bowie and Annie Lennox, not to mention Elvis. Capricorn is the true rock star: independent, powerful and seriously charismatic,not too eager to please. And if they make money being themselves, who are you To quibble? But just like most rock stars, they're either totally on or totally off, and they generally need a little social lubricant to loosen up and enjoy the after party, especially if they can hook up with a cute groupie.
Trademark chickentails
Old-fashioned Cap would probably like an old-fashioned just fine or a dry martini, or a gin and tonic, or a gimlet -- or any other no-nonsense quaff. They prefer drinks that taste like alcohol and generally hate drinks with more than three ingredients. However,they like the flavor of cranberry and will order a cosmo if they can handle the wait for it to get mixed.

cosmos,yes or straight tequila, no lime,no salt. just down the hatch and pay the piper later, but big fun though. getting into different micro brews. love #9 from magic hat in vermont. happy birthday to all caps. i'm on 1/4. times have been tough lately. does anyone see the light at the end of the tunnel? almost getting an ulcer from the stress. relationship, job, family, just everything is screwing with me right now. but being a cap and irish (american), i feel i have a great amount of luck on my side. cheers.

Today I was turned down for a loan, which I had built hopes on. Like you, I had been 'anticipating' some upheavals here and there, but why do I act like I am shocked, every time I do not get it my way —
I guess the universe has other plans for me. Let's wait and see ....!

on an Isle called Islay in the inner Hebrides there lies a distillery, they make a scotch whiskey named LaPhrouge. this is the drink of the true capricorn, tis a drink for the bold not the weak. tis a whiskey made for the gods. just a hint of the sea, the peat, and a tad of the smoke. sorry about the loan kiwigrl.

I dig Gold Schlauger(sp), Red Shock. Kahlua and Cream, but I do love a good Long Island Ice Tea. I don't like making them single drinks, takes to long, so when I do make them for myself I make a batch of five in a pitcher or mug 😄

What is with you all, Caps *always* seem to know drinks so well! lol. You're fun to drink with, though, that's a fact. I had the best parties at an old Capricorn friend's house.

i don't drink alot, but i make sure i have a good time when i do. tomorrow's my b'day. tonight i'm having dinner and drinks with 20 of my gal pals, leaving the husbands and boyfirends at home. big fun! i have come up with the most delicious drink. it's alize' (which is a passion fruit/cognac), cointreau, and tequila (gold or better). mix it 1 to 1 to 1. believe me, it only takes 1 or 2 of these. they're really tasty. everyone who has tried it loves them. the alize' margarita. how do you patent a drink? anyway if anyone asks, you heard it here first. cheers!
