Of course you can find alot of helpful info on the internet, but how about a good 'ole book? A good astrology book is more helpful than the bits and pieces searching on the net. If cash is a problem, a library card is quite useful.. In one book you can read through all the signs, planets, risings(ascendants),aspects.. etc.. And for those of you who have kids, or are expecting your own little bundle of joy, the astrology books written about children can give insight you might not otherwise consider.. Cap/pisces/mom(me) with cancer/scorpion,sag cusp/son, and, aries, taurus cusp/cancer/daughter!!

I read encyclopedias as a child also lol.I don't read astrology books.Alot of mythology and religions holy books but....not really for practicing them, just for research for my own fantasy writing.Otherwise theres alot of books laying around about history, gardening, bird watching and the related topics(how to's for houses and feeders, where to locate, feet, open spaces or heavily tree areas, etc. for certain birds, etc.),famous painters, poetry, fantasy novels, location animal and plant life(yeah, pretty useless but could be useful in a very, very rare time-knowing what to look for if needs be to survive-types of snakes in your area, spiders, etc.)and tons more of varied topics....even have a book set called the sex box(not as bad as it sounds for the conservetive peeps and ha,isn't porn either for the little perverts reading).

Bittertaurus - I read Zahir as well. I bought it in hardback and what a complete waste of money that was..It was flippin awful. I can't read more than 1 book by the same author..it starts to bore me..

There is one book I read which I absolutely loved. Its called Birdsong by Sebastian Faulkner..If you like Trench warfare..thats your book..will tap into emotions you never knew existed!
