Maybe its because I'm really tired, but I became so annoyed during lunch today. I went to go grab food from one of my favorite places. There were alot of people there and the staff were very short handed.

I would think that people would understand that if there are few people working, service will be a bit slow. The lady that was taking orders was so pleasant and sweet but the people ahead of me were very rude to her. When she would say, "Okay sir, enjoy your meal", he would just snatch the bag away from her and walk out. A few of the them gave her dirty looks ... like it was all her fault that the service was just a little slow. They were rolling their eyes and checking their I-phones like they were the most important people in the world who 'oh so desperately' needed their food in 5 seconds. lol, you can't cook food in 5 minutes let alone 5 seconds! UGH, people!

I was very nice to her because I knew she was having a bad day with those jokers.


I use to be in food serivice so I understand how careless people can be.

I know what you saying Cappy and those people had no right to be rude to her but then i do understand customers point of view too although the way of expressing their anger was wrong.

I have been in service industry and i do understand the hardship faced by a frontline employee . He/she has to take all the bullshit from the customers. Although i feel that a customer has all the right to demand promt service, afterall they are paying for it. The organisation(restaurant or whatever the case might be) needs to make sure that even durign peak hours the service is fast and good. What are they charging for?




The place was pretty cheap, thats why I went there for food LOL! The highest thing was like 8 bucks, but the food is awesome.

I agree with the 'customer is always right' thing or whatever but if the customer gives a crappy attitude, then what in the hell do they expect. The days of "pleasing a consumer at all costs are over". These people with sticks up their asses better start getting real, times are changing, social groups are changing. Its not the same as it use to be 5 years ago. In my opinion, being a former waitress, you get what you put in and people get what they deserve. I've seen waiters treat food poorly because their customers were being jackasses. Oh yeah, who knows what you might eat if you are acting like an asshole to someone who is trying to make a 'living' just like you.

Confession : Few months back i was very very tired and it was very hot that day. I went to this place to have icecream and i was in hurry too. I didt have change.This lady again and agin was asking me for change which irrtated me and i think i replied back in a rude way saying - i said i dont have change. I dint intend to but i was rude and this man standing next to me looked at me like i am bitch. I hated him then but all my way back home i felt terrible and guilty coz lady was very sweet and i felt terrible coz of how i spoke to her. 😢



Well, don't feel bad, you didn't have any change after all 🙂 Plus, if the lady asked once if you had change and then she asked again ... thats enough to annoy anyone.
