To take ex back or not?

I'm not actually asking if I should take my ex back. I don't think that will ever happen.

I'm just asking:

Would you take your ex back?

I'll give my own example. You can write here your own examples if you want to.

Here's my case. My ex took another woman, replaced me so easily with another woman. Their "relationship" was over in less than 2 weeks. Now he wants to come back. He says that no one else can make him feel like I did. I didn't wanna get back with him after we broke up, I just moved on in my life. So after he said he wants us back I took some hours to think about it. Just to make sure to myself, if I'm able to go back to our relationship or if I shouldn't. The answer is clear. I can't. Not only that he hurt me (now I'm not hurt anymore and I can forgive him). But it made me think differently, about my life and my future and what I want and what I don't want. I couldn't take back a person (who I loved more than any other man ever in my life so far) because if he could so easily replace me with someone else, I don't feel I'm so special to him and maybe I never was. I know men and women think differently when it comes to relationships and love. But this is who I am. I just don't see a future for us anymore.

Now I'm hoping to get some examples from you. Would you take your ex back? Did you take your ex back? Was it different the second time? Was it better or worse?

It depends on how much I love (or loved) the person and the reason we split.

I've gone back with an ex before, and fallen for the "i've changed" line, which, actually, was not a complete lie, but the change wasn't complete enough. It depends on what didn't work in the relationship to start with. If the problems were minor and you've both matured, a second go may work. If the issues were a fundamental part of the personalities, then it's not worth it. The ending will be the same.
