So I had my heart set on doing a semester at sea, but I am not the typical candidate as I graduated already. on the programs site it says they sometimes accept post bachelor on a case by case decision. I feel like my application was on point I had letter of intent a good essay and letter of rec plus transcripts I also told the woman if there was any thing else they needed to help make a decision let me know.

all of this was after emails they sent me that read "greetings summer 2011 participant" getting my hopes up!
it took them two weeks to come to the conclusion that in thier policy I am not considered a student beacuse I have already got my BA. so i email the woman i spoke to today and asked her if my app was lacking anywhere else? was the fact that I was a non traditional student the only thing holding me back? and was there another option within the program that could be offered to me?

folks I am determined I want to do this, do you think that being a non traditional student should bar me frrom this if everything in my app was on point. I want to know why they feel like I can't contribute or gain from this because I have a BA already, I'm enrolled in my univ as a STUDENT

should I write an appeal? do you think it will change anything?
