I remember reading about how much less Americans should shower. Saves water, skins natural oils, other reasons, so on... I've also read that your smell depends on what you eat; spicy foods equals strong spicy body odor while sweet herbs and spices lets your body give off a more light, softer smell.

Showering just feels good! But I like the idea of letting the natural oils moisturize my body instead of wash it away with body wash. Though I do have some yummy, sweat body wash. It's with shia butter and oatmeal. I think the most important parts to wash daily are: arm pits, genitals (front and back), and the face. No one likes a dirty face. The rest of the body I think should depend on what you do daily, or during a certain day. Like, if you're a plumber or work out side, or sweaty work, then please, for everyone's sake, shower. But if you have indoor jobs or things that don't get you dirty than why bother?
What I like to do, because I love the fresh feeling after waking up, I just get in there and stand under the running water for a few minutes every day.
Then there's the scalp. How often you wash your hair depends of your hair type. People with straight hair, their hair becomes greasy in less time then someone with curly. Especially when you have pretty thin hair. I think it's because it spreads through the hair more easily... I'm just guessing. Like, with curly hair the grease on the scalp takes more time to get through the curls lol ... just my theory on why straight hair needs to be washed more often.
There are powders for the hair that I've heard about. It'll be cool to know anyone's experiences on that.
