hard to trust!

I have always found it hard to trust in fact i dont think i trust at all! i trust no one not even my own mother. Every promise from the time i was born from the time i grew up was broken. My heart was broken many times. I did not grow bitter about theese things i just stopped trusting totally and i have no clue how to trust anymore.

I have had so much trouble with trust latly its not even funny. things just keep getting worse and dealing with it is no luck for me i guess its somthing that we have to take day by day. hopfully we can find people that will come into our life that we can trust with out having the heart achs. good luck stay positive. The last time i ever trusted in someone had to be atleast 8 years ago!!!! i have forgotten how. Now I'm not sure what trust really is and how do you know when to trust?

Trusting people dose not come easy for some people because of lifes cruelity so you were blessed with that problem and it is going to be a hard obstical to overcome so I suggest starting of easy find someone that you have known for a while and just trust them not to tell a joke you heard!!! Then Go from there trust is a little things its the words you put into them that is the big thing a little trust of a joke can take you a long ways. Good luck.

You must first trust yourself in order to allow yourself to trust others. We are all just human beings trying to live our lives to the best of our abilities. Believing in yourself will give you confidence to know when you should or should not believe in another.

I understand how you feel. Everything that happens to you is a learning experience. When I was a child my father abused me physically. I am now a mother and with having being treated that way I know that I don't ever want my children to feel the way that I did when I was a kid. I make sure that I tell them everday that I love them and they know that I mean it. I also explained my childhood to them. We are very close. From my expeience I learned that I didn't want anyone else to feel that way. It made me a stronger person. In everthing you do you have to look at the good side of it or you will go crazy. I know how you feel. Life is full of chances. I give people what I call the "generic trust." I trust everyone the same until they do something to prove that they can't be trusted. If you go around with a shield, you will never experience the beauty of life. Be cautious but not overly cautious. Don't penalize other's for other's mistakes. Everyone is different. You have to learn from your experience, but don't let your experience make you paranoid. I used to be paranoid about trusting people. There just comes a time when you have to trust in God and pray that He shows you who not to trust. I know it's easier said then done, but it can be done....Look at me, I'm living proof!
