Aries pride versus Leo pride -

what are the differences?

Yes, I personally do have a lot of "pride" 😉

My best friend who is a Leo does not. She is working on her past issues and has an awesome start to developing her "pride" - I'm having a ball sharing this experience with her!

It seems to me that Aries have pride for and when they accomplish things, while Leos have pride just for being.

hehe leos are content with admiring themselves, aries on the other hand are content when being admired. why?

to leo no other person is equal so admiration from others is expected. but because only the leo individual is perfect in his/her eyes admiration is fulfilled when they do it.

Aries IMHO are more attention loving than leos because unlike leos, it takes others admiration to make them truly happy. they don't consider others beneath them because they love a good batlle. and if admiration from others came easy it will not have fulfilled their thirts to prove themselves.

I'm saying that Aries think they are invincible and think they can do anything sometimes. That's what I mean by pride for and when they accomplish things, we have the pride to work toward a personal goal, and are more proud when we make it happen. Maybe you could just call that confidence. Half the time we don't care if we're admired or not, we just want to accomplish what we want to accomplish, and we get a kick out of ourselves when we do.

i tend to agree, TDA..*with that said, i don't think you need to be an Aries or Leo to have pride..'i have enough healthy pride and i'm Pisces..*go figure..! 😉

pride meaning stubbornness, no difference there. can't swallow it. unless they have learned the benefits of admitting mistakes and/or compromise, that is.

aries and leo pride...hmm. i don't see much of a difference in the other senses either. i see both signs' pride as being largely internal, a feeling of accomplishment within themselves. the one difference that i can see, which i think is basically what tall_dark_and_aries said (although i could be wrong), is that leo's sense of pride is more elevated by the approval and recognition of others than aries'. but that is not to say that aries do not care. either sign can easily get an overly inflated ego and what seems like unwarranted arrogance to the external world. this is why i say it is largely internal.

my mother's an Aries, and has always been proud of a job well done, but not of arrogance or ego. i think arrogance is more about inflated, or mis-directed egos, not so much about a healthier kind of pride and self-esteem, which is of course beneficial to everyone..

not sure if aries pride is accomplishment oriented, i don't need to feel i accomplished anything to feel proud. but i definitely agree that leo pride is more about other peoples opinions, whereas aries pride comes from inside, a believe in themselves, regardless what other people think or say (whether it's justified or not, aries can have a good amount of self-deception). so leo pride is probably the more realistic one because it involves the judgement of others, whereas aries pride only evolves from very subjective impressions
