In my currently hazy state of mind, I have considered proposing to the first girl I meet who actually knows and likes Balrog Boogie(can be found here). Well, no, not really, but it did get me thinking - would that be such a bad idea? I think that musical taste is quite a personal matter, and as such has an obvious connection to one's personality - but how tight of a connection? Do you believe, kind DXPoster, that the similarity of musical preferences can accurately predict the success of a relationship?

"Who—? Nah...why do I remind you of her—? Is it cuz she's a bull...was she fiesty— was she on the bad rep list— lol"

Heh, well, for one I think you and her are the only two who ever questioned me about my relationships. She is also a Taurus/Aries expat. She also gave me a nickname(Yamaha). Some general vibe stuff as well. She got into less trouble though.😛

Possibly. But I had done so only so I could warn others.

"Hmm..you made me think of a great idea,

How I would construct my perfect woman out of the whole zodiac:

Face: a Libra

Shoulders: a Cancerian

Breasts: hmm..tie between Cancerians and Pisces

Tummy: Leo

Derriere: TAURUS ALL THE WAY!

Legs: ARIES

Feet: Pisces"

"Yum, Opeth plays in the states, but they rarely come to my city. They've been here, but I have missed them every time they came unfortunately."

Well, by "rarely" I assume you mean rarely by US standards, which I think is still pretty often by Is-...Russian standards, so you won't get a whole lot of sympathy from me. Still, it doesn't seem like they'll be breaking up soon, so I'm sure you'll have your chance.

Alright, question: has nobody downloaded Balrog Boogie at the start of the thread? It's a really cool swin/metal hybrid with some operatic vocals(not a lot of operatic vocals compared to DSO other songs, though).

"The Dark Knight isn't scary and I'm not into scary movies myself. It's just a really well told story. It's so much better than these other comic book stories that they've tried to make into movies. It's much more complete."

See that? That's the problem with TDK enthusiasts, when they say it's great they don't really mean that it's great in comparison to The Godfather, but in comparison to Spiderman 3.

"Batman is a very realistic hero. He basically is one big mental case, because in real life if someone put on a costume and fought crime, they would be considered crazy. Bruce Wayne is really just a conflicted person, and I think the new movies highlight this very well. It isn't a comic book film like Spiderman is."

Yet it still gets away with people doing incredibly unnatural things. I mean, come on, thousands of normal people doing the bidding of an insane murderer?
