Pretty much the only thing I know is that my having Scorpio rising is good as Scorpio is very compatible with Cancer. I don't know his birth time though so I can't find out his ascendent.

Well everyone is about to tell you libras and cancers never work, but I'm a libra dating a cancer and i've never been more compatible with anyone in my entire life. And I don't just mean any man but any person. You are definitely compatible! Both lovers of romance.

My advice if you two do get together (or already are?) is just be patient with your cancer. My cancer is pretty emotional and yes sometimes possesive, but to me it's worth it. Communication is key! We had some problems at first, but with compromise and communicating things have quickly eased up and I've never been happier.

It's true that I've known many Geminis and Aquarians (who Libras are meant to be compatible with) but I've never liked them as much as I like Cancer. And yesyesyes romance! I can't get enough of it. 😄

I totally agree. Cancer is by far one of my most favorite signs. My Granny is a cancer as well as my current bf, one ex bf, and many of my close friends.

Hmmm that is tricky because I was the one persued in this relationship.

I can't speak for all cancer males by any means but my cancer for sure likes to be the one in control. If I were you I would make asking him my last resort. Instead try hinting around and just being your normal flirty/friendly libra self. From my experience it's nearly impossible for cancer males to resist the libra charm.

How long have you known him? Have you been dropping hints already? If you're anything like me you have almost zero patience, but unfortunately it looks like that's exactly what you might need.

Ah alas.
I've not known him long and I hardly know him at all in fact. We met at the end of August and (since he lives on the other side of London from me), it's hard for me to ever see or be around him. It's a really rubbish situation, unfortunately. But I like him so much that I know it's worth persuing. Because I don't know him so well, I don't want to seem too forward by dropping hints already. I'd rather form a proper friendship with him first (though god knows how long THAT will take) and then turn on the Libra charm hehe!
I would LOVE for him to be the one doing the asking but, I know for a fact that he has never dated (he's 20) because he's so sensitive about letting anyone know how he feels. He's quite a challenge!
But I'm more than willing to be patient for him, even though that's hard.

Being friends first is a splendid idea, that's how my relationship started out as well!

My cancer is a true romantic at heart, but it took time for him to reveal that to me. I have to say he is not so extravagant in his romantic actions--as in dinners and presents and such. That is most likely because we are college students and low on cash, but when he does have cash he is all about cooking together and going to dinner together etc. BUT! He is romantic in a different way. The things he says to me are sooo sweet and just make me melt inside. We talk for hours and hours almost every night still and it's been almost six months. I love the fact that cancer males are so in tune with their emotions. He compliments me, tells me how much he cares, and truly tries his hardest to make me happy, and to me that's all that matters.

Like I said thouhgh we had rough spots at first because libras and cancers think differently. We think rationally and they think emotionally. But, as soon as we began calmly communicating what we were feeling/thinking to one another our relationship did a 180! It is never boring that's for sure.

By the way...cancer males: best sex I ever had. The passion is second to none! (Two of my partners have been cancers). You have a lot to look forward to!! 🙂

Having romantic things said to you is so much better than fancy dinners and presents, I reckon. This way you know it's definitely from the heart and that he's not trying to buy his way into your affections! Your cancer definitely sounds like a keeper, haha mine has an awful lot to live up to now!
