a dork's mind fuck

my mind is swimming with thoughts of you.
words convey feelings but characters on screen are so cold and yet,
when black hits white, the hex color isn't #CCCCCC.
you are helvetica to my arial and i am enveloped in wingdings.

each thought is entered with trepidation.
short statements followed by ellipses and 🙂
i find myself hanging on your every word.
awaiting the response as "user is typing message."

i love witnessing the visual explosion as you Enter.
vibrations flowing from your finger tips and i twitter.
i tentatively caress the keys to your heart and
push ever so lightly to tap-tap on your strings.

we step in concert as inkless sheets unfold.
uncovering and discovering the inner most parts of U and I.
the vows we profess well and are separated by mere space.
is it any wonder they are side by side?

i await the day when words are actions and smiles are real.
until then i leave myself open, wide with wonder.
bold and confident, striking through the obstacles
and underlining those things that link us together.

you fucked my mind.

I'm a little confused about the parameters of online dating...

If you are dating someone online, do you ever meet in person, or is it strictly an electronic exchange?

Do people "date" someone online while having a relationship in real life, and if so, how do their boyfriend/girlfriend feel about that, or do they even know?

I'm just kinda curious.....

🙂

most of the time, nope! at least i don't. it's sorta like this site or any other site to which you are a member. you might develop a "friendship" with someone but moving it beyond the internet never happens. in some cases, you might not actually get along. in others, your paths might simply never physically merge. in those rare instances in a LDR format, you both make it happen and then you sink or swim.

and personally, if i'm single, i am open to all forms of dating but would not knowingly connect with someone who wasn't single themselves in any realm.
