Aquarius and Cancer

So there is this Aquarius guy that have known for 13 years. We were together when were 12, but I wouldn't consider that much. And we also were seeing each other when were 16. So now I am 25 and so is he, I wonder if we choose to pursue a relationship with each other now, would it work? From what I have read we are not a great match. However, I would like to know if anyone has had an experience perhaps an aquarius that has dealt with a cancer or vice versa.

I believe Aquas & Cancers have good friendships but relationship-wise, I haven't seen too many of them work out. This is just an opinion, but hey, what I see through my own eyes becomes my own truth about Aquas & Cancers...Cancers (don't take this offensive) can be very needy, very demanding & very whiny. When things are not to their satisfaction, they can become very grouchy, emotional & too much to handle for an Aquarian. We love how Cancers love to communicate & laugh like we, ourselves do, but I see the main problem between Aquas & Cancers as happening when things in the relationship get ROUGH or BUMPY. Aquarians are not the ones to whine alot, & attach themselves to someone who is a little clingy or jealous & Cancers tend to be very clingy & jealous. Aquas & Cancers normally end up never seeing "eye to eye on certain things" when things get tough & we all know, there's only so many "not-seeing-eye-to-eye" situations that will occur until the relationship is just finally over. I think the good part about Cancer & Aqua is that the relationship would be very fun & spontaneous & full of 'spunk' but in terms of emotional compatibility, I believe it would be a HAIR-PULLING-OUT situation...But who knows, of course there's always that 1 couple that defeated the odds 🙂

Well I am thinking with me being a flight attendant. I won't really have much time to sit down and be needy, because I know that I am when it comes to relationships. But for some reason I think that things could possibly be able to work because there will be times where I am always on the go, and you know how you are more appealing to men when you are not available to them all the time, they like the chase. Now I may be wrong, however that's just what I thinking right now.

Well I guess there is something about us cancers that Aquarius men do like, that's what it seems to me. He seems to be the one putting forward all the effort to spend time with me, call me, he has a special tone on his phone to let him know when I log on to aol lol. And now he's telling me he doesn't know what I did to him because he can't stop thinking about me. And for the record I haven't done anything yet lol.

iluvmecancer - I too am a cancer who dated an Aqua man for 5 years. What you refer to above is his way of "slow pimpin"?lol ...meaning he is telling you those sweet things to get under your to you, literally. As soon as you give in he will disappear and go back to reality. He will come back ? mines always did but on his terms. I had to learn to adjust to being in a relationship where everyone else's problems and relationships came before ours.

Not to say that he won't care for you or think about you, but it is as though once he has accomplished one task, in this case, getting you, he will move on to the next challenge, which could be anything from learning to fly a plane to traveling the world. When he returns he expects you to welcome him with open arms and a smile on your face, not a scowl because he has been away for so long and you missed him.

Aquas seek adventure and newness. I am not saying this relationship cannot work, because I believe anything can work if 2 people are willing to put forth the time and effort ultimately. What I am saying is be prepared for a roller coaster ride. I thoroughly enjoyed my Aqua and we are still friends. I would do anything for him and him me. It did not end on a sour note, as a matter of fact we still talk occasionally and it is always love, I guess because we loved each other so deeply.

Aquas value friendship in any relationship, so I would recommend that you befriend him first and foremost. I still love my Aqua ex and so does my mother, but we had some difficulties and his responsibilities which caused us not end our relationship. As different as we both were, we balanced each other out in a strange way. We would get back together in the future if it presented itself and the circumstances were right.
