Normal for an Aquarius male?

I've known this guy for a couple of months and what not. Recently we're exchanged numbers and texting/calling mostly. The thing is that he's become really attached. Always referring to him as beautiful, saying he misses me alot, and constantly texts me (night and day). He's also very self-critical, asking if I think he's boring or too weird, etc. Is this usual of an Aquarius male? I always thought they were indepedent, etc. Here's his chart:

Sun: Aquarius
Moon: Virgo
Rising: Taurus
Venus: Sagittarius
Mars: Capricorn

yea it may be the virgo or capricorn in his chart. they tend to display a very critical self-image iin someone. dunno if there's any luck here, dont count on his behavior to get any better...or less awkward.
