I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.

FOR EXAMPLE:

One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says, "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said, "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear...

"You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man."

She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, "Lets get a pair for each outfit."

We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis.

I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, "I think this is all
dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?"

I then said, "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either....but at least that bitch knows I'm smarter than her.

How about the guy is a smartass and the girl is a emotional bitch?

That guy was way more like a Scorpio than an Aquarius. I agree with Bling. I don't think an Aqua would bother (or even remember to bother) to go to all that trouble.

Aqua guy and cancer girl, what a typical topic. Well life is weird.

Mostly for those who know my story (moonchild, ladym, unusualcancer, sorry if I forget anyone) I deceided to reveal this although I'm a little affraid I will jinx it. I've met this cancer lady on facebook and we have arranged our first date for this saturday 🙂

I'm shocked as I know 3 things of her so far that is like a blindcopy of my previous gf: 1.she's a cancer 2.same type of attitute/expression/laugh 3.flirts and respondes in the exact same way of me flirting as I did in the past with me ex-cancer

I hope to keep you updated otherwise you know where to find me (within my cancer's caring hug :p). One thing that troubles me and I need your advice is that she asked me to fix her pc on saturday ! Well she knows I work on IT and she has a messed up laptop BUT without knowing me why ask for that ON our first date ? Sounds like taking advantage of me showing my interest for her. I cleverly bypassed it in a way I said "let's hang out first".

Any professional (aka cancer) advice ? Much appreciated thank you

I need some help ! please moonchild, unusualcancer and the gang !

Met this girl we spend 6hours (!) very good time. A great funny mature thinking but also exacting (with moods at times) cancer. A fresh, improvising but also detached (with times of being unemotional) aqua.

Prior to date : many texts from both ends, some calls from my end showing an all laughing girl.
After the date : A few follow up texts from my side, however very little response from her end, only whenever she goes online on msn, she initiates a talk but after 2-3 lines she ends up with sthg like "have a lovely sleep goodnight" etc.

I just sent a message showing it might be the last contact, asking her whether we will meet again as I haven't really heard from her so I guess I scared her so I would understand if she doesn't feel good about this.

Out of curiousity if she was not interested wouldn't she end the date after 1-2 hours ? Or she prefered to get to know me and have a good time but then had thoughts afterwards ?

Any cancer-minded idea on that much appreciated.
