What do you appreciate in a significant other?
common ground, appreciating the things I do. A giver like me. I like to do things for my SO like cook their favorite meals, help them with projects, and bake sugar cookies after sex 🙂...attention to detail. I complained to one of my bf's that I couldn't rent SuckerPunch from the RedBox. He went and bought the movie and surprised me when he came over. It was so cute and meant a lot cause he was actually listening to what I had to say. I like my SO to literally feel like my best friend. I wanna punch you in the arm and call you a jerkface and still be able to seriously look you in the eyes and tell you I love you. I love romance that isn't cheesey, but is genuine. And then there's all that basic stuff like honesty, consideration, and preferably a high sex drive. Biggest thing is consistency. If you're consistent, I can decide whether or not I'm willing to adapt to you so we can compliment each other. But when you change on me, I'll change on you.
The things others don't see in you and the things you miss them yourself. They just appreciate the "weirdest" traits of yours. I've a silly habbit of puffing my cheeks out when I disagree with someone and it makes him laugh alot 😛
