Aries Behavior

I was just looking for some insight on Aries male behavior. I have a ton of Aries friends that are women and think I pretty much get them, but there's a guy that I just can't get. We met about 5 or 6 months ago we when on a date everything was cool, then we stopped talking and then starting talking again. In my opinion I would say we are just friends, we text a lot and stay in contact with each other don't really hang out because we live in different areas of the city, but we do communicate. I'm a Sag so I am naturally nice and friendly and can make or have a conversation with anyone. I didn't think the guy was interested in me and I was cool with that, because I think we just get a long really well. We hung out last Friday and everything was friendly and platonic, I will say that I was pretty drunk when we go together because I had been out for a while before we met up and he was sober, we went and had breakfast and talked then both went our separate ways. He didn't try to kiss me or make a move nor did I, but then on Saturday he sent me a very forward text saying something like we should hook up, I joked it off and said something along the lines, about how easy he was and all it took was breakfast for him to offer himself up. We both just came out of long relationships and can relate to one another,so he knows I haven't really been dating. After I said that comment the guy went cold. I just ignored it and continued with my day.He text me again about two days later asking about this new position I am taking and said something about how he has been thinking about changing careers etc.. I told him that he should totally do it and that if he needed help with his resume or anything to let me know, since I know this would be a total career change, he went silent again. I'm so puzzled him. I don't know if he is interested in me, or if we are just friends or what the deal is. I mean I thought I was just being nice, he just seems like he is down and needs someone to help him get out of whatever rut he is in. I'm cool with us just being friends, I'm not even looking for anyone to date, but his behavior is just so bizarre. He says flirty things to me, then we have serious conversations and then proof he's gone. I mean I'm not texting him or chasing him, but he is just so weird. I thought Aries were pretty straight forward and direct, this guy is just all over the place. Is this typical of Aries? I tell him all the time that I am on the fence when it comes to him a

Oh well, I thought Aries would just say that they were interested. I am pretty oblivious to things at times, I mean I thought he was kidding or something. I've asked him to do things in the past and he declined and I've flirted with him but he never acted as though he liked me, so just figured we were friends, but then again I don't know how Aries act when they are interested in someone, I read that they chase people when they like them, but this guy has not chased me, he seems really cautious. How would an Aries act if he were interested?

Plus the men are different to us girls, they like the chase a bit more in my experience.

Sometimes I think that he is a bit intimidated by me, because I have my stuff together and am pretty successful and he seems a little lost, but I have never let him think that I thought that. I mean everyone goes through things, so if anything I would want to help him and cheer him up. But like I said he has never lead me to believe or think he wanted anything more from me than friendship until Saturday when he pretty much said that we should hook up, but I'm not really the type to have random hook ups, I mean I'm not looking for anything serious right now, but know I don't just want to hook up with someone. Like I said he is just weird, one moment I think he's interested and the next not so much... I feel like its a game of cat and mouse that he is playing

oh yeah for sure, Aries men and women are completely different species LOL

Flowingwater, I am not sure the signs were obvious. The guy has never asked me out but once and that was when we first met. After that he got all weird and distant and I had no idea why. I'm not the clingy type so pulled back when he went cold. Then a month later we started talking again and have been taking for a few months now, he has never asked me out but told me how awful all his dates were and would ask how I was doing in the dating world. I just thought he thought we could relate to one another that's all, because we had both just came out of a relationship. I've asked him to hang out recently and he has always declined or had plans or something. Then Friday he decides to pop up around midnight while I am out with friends etc.. then says texts me that we should hook up on Saturday, that's all kinds of confusing.

Well thanks for the information. I would have never thought he was interested, he doesn't really initiate anything, but we do communicate on a regular basis, so just thought we were friends.I guess I'll have to be a bit more flirty with him going forward.

Yeah I like him, but since I wasn't sure where he stood I was okay with us just being friends. We get along well, have great banter and he's just really nice. No I'm pretty sure he just wants to hook up. I used the word hook up he used the word sex. And I'm very taken back that he was talking about his dating life if he liked, why would you talk about that with someone you're interested in, that something I would talk to my friends about not someone I like.
