What comforts Aries man? ONLY ARIES RESPONDS PLZ!

Being a Taurus girl who loves to help and make the ppl she loves happy.. I find aries men in my life (including my dad, cousin and ex bf) EXTREMELY HARD to satisfy! Like nothing I do or say comforts them at all. Not the kind words, not the kind gestures, not the respectful treatment.. nothing seems to reach them? In the end, I'm left bruised (not acting like a victim) bec. I feel that nothing I try to make them happy is enough.. and bring misunderstood. The kind things I do are held against me (either being viewed differently or twisted against me).

Please Aries men help me understand you! I can't stand seeing my loved ones hurt bec. of me?!

Unfortunately, nothing. Happiness is a choice. They can choose to be happy or choose to be miserable. My Cancer mother is the same way, she loves to be unhappy. Some people get off on wallowing in their own misery.

I agree that happiness is a choice, but it sucks when they keep blaming you for being the cause of "their" misery!

I stay away from people like that. Family included. If not physically away, then emotionally.

seems like it's not just me.. These days he is blaming all of us for not loving him and not caring for him, no matter how we try to show it.

Any aries guys around for advice?

I believe the thought of being in control is the thing that matters the most to father. Bec. every time we have our own plans, he always doubts them and even ruins them bec. he did not choose to set these plans. And this is usually with me and my mother. My brother gets to do it his way sometimes but gafter so many fights.

I am new to astrology but how I communicate is usually this way... I try my best to say boldly what I want and what I don't like. And this never really works with any of them :/ and I stand up against any mistreatment from them, which again goes in vain (with father and exbf) ending up playing the victim card that I wronged them. It's so strange how we cannot peacefully "discuss" any situation, it usually ends up with father being sad or throwing an anger tantrum. I dont know if this is an aries trait or that he is suffering from depression or something.. Also my exbf was suffering from mild depression (I suppose or maybe it was just a bad time in his life when we were together..he was too dark).

Yes my father and exbf usually wanted to have the upper hand. With my cousin we rarely clash in this situation. The common thing between the three is not comprehending why im being upset lol maybe aries view life differently than i do.

It seems to be due to (their) Mercury in Aries ... In theory, this Merc is not compatible with Taurus Merc. This thread seems to differ:

well I just find him way too carefree and impulsive, not thinking of any consequences. My life approach is alot different.. I am cautious and thereare times when i choose to be carefree, but seriously not all the time like him. He said I wasted my young adult years bec. he doesnt see that the way I live life is good enough. I am happy with the way im living and i do crazy stuff from time to time. Oh n the things that bother me ..like ppl's anger towards me and really too general life morals, he doesnt find me having the right to be upset. I am so damn sure we are not viewing life from the same lense!

...because he has not met with messes that followed up with huge consequences yet I think.

But you're right. Aries can be ... really optimistic ... and sometimes, not in a practical way.

He is much older than me. By general life morals, I meant when I meet ppl who lack the basic morals, it upsets me. But he doesnt find a problem with that. He doesnt even notice them I think.

I cant say im not difficult to please but everyone is right like they really need to choose to be happy cause they do have the power to make themselves happy. They dont want anything but attention

as a taurus you place way more value on obligations and commitments than we do (male, aries sun cancer moon dunno the rest). we are inherently way more impulsive and while you value security we value battles, it's sheer bliss when we win at something. doubtful you'll be able to change his approach to time commitments, you can win his admiration by communicating worse, we like fights.
