Are You Emissive or Receptive?

1)So - is there any way to tell if you are predominantly Solar / Emissive or predominantly Lunar / Receptive, just from your natal astrology chart? The answer is a resounding YES! And the basic answer to this question can be determined just by looking at the placements of the Sun and Moon, and the interaction between them.


Solar / Yang / Emissive:
Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

Lunar / Yin / Receptive:
Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces


2)Look at the respective sign placements of your Sun and Moon.
3)Find the Sun / Moon Midpoint as the Tie-Breaker.

So my Moon is in Aries, Sun in Virgo.

Midpoint = half the distance? That would be Gemini right?

So emissive?

Then, the Emissive / Receptive polarity situation is more complicated, and requires an additional determining factor or factors.

My sun/moon are both receptive signs!? so would I be receptive, not emissive?

Yes, because you already have 2 out of 3 before going to the midpoint..
